If Ken truly wanted to change a companies trajectory he should get in touch with Beta. He could be to Beta what Dungey was to KTM. If the GOAT was based on sales it might well be Dungey. He will always have that accomplishment that really no other rider has. He has plenty of money, why not go for history.
Then he would have a legitimate reason to blame the bike.

Well if Matthes is correct then for sure Ken can win races on the RMZ. The bigger question would be whether or not his body can handle a full season, in terms of winning a title. If he can race 2023 SX at 100% for 17 rounds then I think he has a decent chance at the title, Suzuki or any other bike.
I don't think we will see him being consistent for 17 rounds on any bike. But as a big Kenny fan I just wanna see him get a couple wins and then not try to blame it on any kind of health or bike issue whenever he doesn't win. I just want to see him enjoying his last years as a pro. Altough he was really good last year and battled for both titles until the end..I just think the level went up with Tomac, Anderson and Sexton. He can still win on any given day, but I don't see it for a whole season.

I think what most of us fans disliked this year was that Kenny came into the seasons and said "I'm just trying to have fun and I'm gonna enjoy this whole new dad life and trying to have a good time", but as soon as he didn't win or have a bad race, you could clearly see him being pissed at the post race interviews. I don't blame him for the second part, he is too competitive and has won everything since being a little kid. But just don't say stuff like that. A Ken Roczen doesn't need to try to be someone else. Just a random thought..

This post made no sense.

Ken did not battle for the outdoor title last year for one

Second, Ken has had legitimate heath issues in the past and that could be a lot of reason he fades as the season goes on or has off nights.

Third he has always been pissed when he doesn’t do well. Telling him not to he is telling him to be someone else.

His results on 3 different brands over the course of 8 years are really similar.

He was the only guy battling Ferrandis last year.

Yes, we know that. I didn't say anything else.

I don't tell him to not be pissed, I said don't say stuff like "We're just having fun right now and we enjoy all these new dad stuff". Because it's all just fun, until it's not. I like and appreciate the raw emotions.

What year are you living in? Tomac and Sexton were the only ones battling for championship in MX this past season.

I think the sport is better with Kenny in it. Like him or hate him the guy has amazing talent on a dirt bike. I’d like to see him ride the rmz but as long as he’s on the gate come a1 I don’t care what he rides.

Well I’ll say this much. If you think Kenny couldn’t win the championship on an 08 CRF450R; then you are clueless has that cooksey dumb dumb.

If someone from a small team can win at the top level on it, maybe they can!

Call me clueless because I think it’d be a stretch to even say he finishes this season. Hopefully he comes out and kicks ass but I don’t see that happening over a full sx season.

So anyone know the percent that Matthes is right on big issue things like this ?
I’m betting HEP / Progressive / Twisted Tea are speaking in big dollar signs to KR

My original post was just joking about Suzuki finding another reason to continue with their once-a-decade bike revisions, lol. But if they do sign Roczen, I’ll be pulling for him and the team for sure. For the last few years, I think we’ve all wondered just how competitive the yellow bike can still be if the team had a top talent riding it. It’ll really show where the bike currently stands amongst the heavy hitters.

Now, just imagine if he and another rider go down due to contact in a corner, and Kenny is somehow able to take off first after kicking it back to life… the site traffic from the Suzuki fans would bring Vital down, lol. I’m here for it.

I'm all for it, I am curious to see how a rider of Ken's ability does on the Suzuki, they haven't had a top level rider like Ken in years to show the true potential of the bike, we all know Twisted makes a killer engine package, Ken has knowledge of Suzuki plus also Showa aswell.
Everyone can hate but bring it on

I forgot Brooks took over as team manager. He could have delusions of grandeur with Kenny. The hope is that if he does get Kenny, this will spur development of an updated bike. Or at least some enthusiasm/ competitiveness from Suzuki.

Does Progressive have a moto fan in control of the purse strings? This can't be cheap.
