If they do in fact know Varner is doing this garbage and not just a Vital thread or IG comments, then I agree with you they should not be promoting it. The fact is these guys are dealing with some much trash commenting on their posts (all of them, not just Alessi) that how can they possibly sort through it. For example, damn near every weekend early in the SX series, one guy would take someone else out and now that rider is literally getting death threats on YouTube or IG. It's not just about the Alessi's, others here are acting like this is some conspiracy of the industry to not talk about it and they all know Varner is a thief.

If you walked in his shop and saw the stacks and stacks up peoples engines with address from around the world like I did when I was at his shop for 10 minutes, then people posted that he is running a scam, stealing peoples parts and money.

I was there 10 mins and could clearly see something was not right.
The Alessi claim “ you have to stand there and force him to build your engine”
Come on man !

If you’ve got screenshots of messages to any of those dudes saying “hey man, varner’s seriously fucking people over” and their replies are just stand over his shoulder, or to turn the comments off on their posts. Then yes, those dudes need called out.

Mike seems like a super nice guy that’s awesome to his fans. That doesn’t negate the fact that him and/or his family have been embroiled in drama and shadiness for decades. Hence his lack of a free pass on this deal. Also, I don’t think anybody is saying mike has any responsibility to track down these guys’ motors. Mainly just hey, not a great look to actively promote a guy that’s got a long (and current) affinity for ripping people off.

Exactly! And on top of that, deleting comments and blocking people pointing out Varner’s shady business practices.

Exactly what I was trying to say in my broken english.

They are turning a blind eye to blatant crime/thief/fraud

They would be the first to go on social posting security footage if a robber broke into their shop, garage or house (like everybody would) to call them out. I'm also pretty sure they would be the first to go on social if they were the one who had their engine and money stolen. They prefer to hide and protect Varner the robber tho

But it would never happen to them with Varner, they are "too local" to him, he seem to like international customers or people that are just far enough to not come knocking at his shop every day and watching over his shoulder as he is doing his work. The no travel during pandemic was probably a blessing to him.
