Growing up, I played baseball and football all year while riding was always just a cool hobby my dad took us to do whenever we had a free weekend. So I was all over keeping up with the NFL and MLB. Once I was done playing D3 baseball after my sophomore year, I unintentionally stopped paying any attention to professional stick and ball sports. I think my mind was just ready to move on cuz that life of mine is now gone. Since then, I've gotten to focus on moto and I cannot get enough. My wife even pointed out how I've just dropped following any of the mainstream sports nowadays. Idk, just how its seemed to go for me.
Dude, that’s exactly the path I went on. Wow. I knew there had to be someone like me out there. Nice to meet you Lefty.

I’m glad I played a variety of sports. I’ll never regret that. I wasn’t good enough to be pro at any of them but I learned valuable lessons. Thank goodness there’s Moto!

Every professional sport is tough to watch on TV including MX and especially SX which is a snooze fest. As far as participating, Moto and cycling take up my free time. I used to play hockey but the local beer leagues start around 10pm so it’s past my bed time now. As I type this I am watching the Devils v Red Wings. Hockey players are the best athletes of all Pro sports.

50/50. Probably more moto years ago. I've grown and aged to appreciate talent in all things.

But. Think baseball is like riding a quad.

Depends on the time of year. This time of year, I watch a lot of football (pro and college) and baseball but once SX season starts I’m like 90/10 all the way until the end of the MX season

95% motorsports (MX, SX, MXGP, MotoGP)
5% baseball

I'm an Astros fan for life after hurricane Harvey destroyed my entire community and every material thing my wife and I owned. Astros won us free furniture and gave us hope.
That was a HEARTBREAKING loss for LA, I was pretty bummed about it for a while afterward, then I was furious when the Astros cheating scandal came to light.

Your story takes a lot of that sting away. I’m glad the win was able to help you and your family recover from the devastation of harvey.

There's a famous quote from Ernest Hemingway....“There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games,”
As for me, zero interest in games weather it be monopoly or stick and ball, only get excited about sports. 60% moto racing, 30% alpine ski racing, 10% four wheel racing.

I only religiously follow Supercross, Motocross, and the NFL. I used to watch tons of MMA before it was watered down cards every week full of 125, 135 lbs dudes the size of 8th graders and chick fights. $80 a card? Lol I have a couple of jail broken firesticks where I can watch anything at any time for free. I liked when the UFC had a stacked card once a month.

Moto/SX are the only sports I watch on TV regularly. I follow MMA and MLB websites to keep up on the results, but don't watch much. I used to watch a ton of MMA, but like NorCal said, the UFC putting on a card every week pretty much watered it down for me.

I watch my son's college soccer team when their games are streamed, but that's more for the obvious personal reason than fandom of the sport.

If it’s not mx or snox I don’t care but I do go to the local minor league baseball games and crush $2 coors light. The away teams really start to get a earful once I’m $10 in

I used to be probably 10/90 . But over the years (last 20) i have lost interest in stick and ball sports. This is especially true of professional ball. It used to be played because you loved it. Thats why most of us grew up playing them. I just lost interest.
Now, being from Alabama we have no pro sports teams. That said im a huge bama fan. I been a bama fan so long i dont actually remember becoming one. I keep up with pretty much all of college football but sec in particular! So id say 70/30 moto to college football now.
Problem now is im out here working night shift on the weekends in California and these odd ass games times i have to get up early for are kill me. Im used to eastern time.

Pay enough attention to be able to have conversations with coworkers. Was pretty big into NFL and fantasy football for about ten years but got to time consuming and now just watch the Packers if nothing else is happening.

Been a baseball fan my whole life, as I played from 5-15 so it was my first love and a big part of my childhood. I also got into moto at a young age, but my interest didn't grow to the level it's at now until the last few years.

Got into college football & NFL when I started attending Florida State. Now in my last semester, I still go to every home game I can attend. Sadly, there's been more losses than wins at Doak Campbell in the last 4 years but the program looks like it's improving.

Watch the NBA but not as intently as the others named, same for college basketball.

Ratios are probably
25% moto
25% NFL
20% MLB
15% College football
10% NBA
5% College hoops

I’ll watch football with friends/family but only understand the very basics of it, wouldn’t bother me to never see another one again, mx/sx is the only sport I pay attention to, I love a good world of outlaws race, I couldn’t name one current baseball or basketball player

I'm not 'message board, argue with other message boarders, know all the team movements and silly season drama' with any other sport.. Closest I get is Boxing
Love Speedway bikes! And most motorsport
Watch every round and every heat of WSL (Surfing)
Love to watch Cricket, couldn't care less about the off field shit
Love international Rugby Union, played in high school, will get really invested in the result until the game finishes..
Will watch Rugby League but not really give a shit about any result due to my understanding that the players are all dumb shits.. Except of course the State of Origin series where I'd like to throw rocks at the state of Queensland.. Until the game finishes
60% moto
20% Boxing
20% Surfing
20% Rest
Yeah I know it doesn't add up right but shut up nerds

For me, bikes are everyday thing, so my free time for sports viewing is nfl, off road racing (any type 4 wheels), baseball, hockey. During sx and mx seasons I try to pay attention, but it seems more and more, the TV coverage makes me catch recorded races.

I watched every SX race and national this year. Caught high point in person. I listened to almost every Astros game on SXM radio and made it to Houston for a game. On the fence about dropping money on a World Series ticket since my Astros are playing close to home in Philly.

20% rodeo

I was born in the heart of Pittsburgh so I'm a diehard Steelers fan. I don't really care much about baseball, hockey, or College Football. But then one day this showed up on my Facebook feed and put me in tears. Innocent kids suffering for some unknown reason breaks my heart. From here on out I'm a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan. I love this and plan to attend a game just for this reason.

Mainstream: 5%

Non-mainstream (skiing, etc): 5%

Motorsports: 90%

Of the motorsports, it’s probably 80% MX/SX, and 20% everything else (mostly drag racing).

I grew up playing stick and ball sports. Watched football/baseball for a time, into my 20's. Wouldn't watch a pro or college game if you paid me these days. Possibly one football game, in person, if given a ticket. I will watch youth soccer or high school baseball/football, like to watch the swim team kids, and and croxx country high school and under. I'll watch moto/sx multiple times a week, read/listen about it every day. Haven't owned a bike since probably 2011, haven't ridden one since before my kids were born in 2009. Love bicycles and dirt bikes though!

I follow water polo. Kind of impossible to follow outside of college and unless you figure out how to watch euro team live streams. I also coach it though and played for 10 years. Not a popular sport but it’s a gnarly sport. Dam good training for moto as well
