KTM didn’t let him go, Daxton chose to go to his new deal instead re-signing with KTM.
Weird ferry leaves husky to go to a am Yamaha team and now Dax and Deegan also . Is it because these ams think ktm isn’t the strongest 250f team just because they haven’t had results or a championship since Marv and Roczen on the 250f. Would those be the last championship for ktm on the lites bikes?
As we just saw with Matt Leblanc, Star isn’t always the smartest path. KTM group has done a good job rewarding their AM riders with loyalty. Look at Max and Josh Varize as recent examples. Star has shown that they give zero fucks about dropping someone after year one or even just an outdoor season as a pro.
I respect anyone willing to jump into that hornets nest. I hope it works out!

KTM has won 1 125/250 national title ever. 2 if you count Wacko on a husky

I have no dog in this fight, but LeBlanc is just one guy out of the handful of ams Star has brought up. KTM has brought up/dropped more than that; Dereck Drake, Jordan Bailey and Mitchell Oldenburg.

KTM didn’t bring up Mitchell Oldenburg. He had been pro for two to three years before he rode for TLD KTM.
Derek Drake, Sean Cantrell, Alexander Frye, and Mitchell Falk were the quick turn and burn for KTM and TLD.
Drake, Falk and Frye were each one year pro and with the team, Cantrell was two years.

Can’t blame them for taking a swing at the winningest 250 team in the past 5 years. How many races (let alone championships) have KTM 250s won in the US over the past 5 years?

Ask any former mechanic or race team employee about working for Star Racing if you get the chance.

Soon enough, some kid will come along and clean up with a 250sxf and all will be fine in the collective motocross keyboard jockey mind where KTM is concerned once again....

Not saying it will, but that could happen outdoors in 2023 with Vialle if the bike's good and he learns fast.

I will stir the pot a bit and say it. Personnel is so important. Ramsey is a huge step in the right direction. How Skylar Reef is still with ktm is a head scratcher. (^ Rhyme^)
Im sure the deegans prob helped sway him over since the two families seem to be really close. Hope the kid can stay healthy and make a good showing once he moves up with the big boys
