Agreed 100% I think extra hate comes with Justin because he has had more contract drama and work ethic question than most guys of his level, so in my mind some of it is deserved... But I also think hes a good dude and the sport is better with him in it! Hope this works out for him and he gets back to his form. And if it doesn't then well, is what it is
I'll always have love for Hill. After the pits closed in Oakland when he was PC Kawi. He was heading to the track for his heat race with his mechanic on his bike. He saw my son wave at him wearing a Monster hat and hoodie. Justin stopped his bike, signed my 9 year olds hat and took his helmet off for a pic. I'll always have Justin's back. Good dude.

Yea bc a guy that was trying tobe in law enforcement would steal a bike. That “rumor” is false.

You could take it either way. But seriously, no the bike was not stolen from MCR lol. Coming from someone that would know without a shadow of a doubt lol.

This.

F’ing AMAZING how people Shit-Talk a guy that won races, gone out & got a “9 to 5” job…started a family…

And, get this…

Just wants to give it a shot, again.

So the music thing didn't work out I guess?

I had really high hopes for Justin years back. Seems like he completely wasted his shot.

I know, don't judge a man until you've walked in his....blah blah blah.....

i dont think hes a bad kid, i just get the impression he wasnt super serious about training

I think he's like some that have such an abundance of natural talent that it just comes easy for them, as opposed to guys that have to bust their butts, and grind hard between races just to finish in the top-15. He's a young dude, and wanted to have fun...and it came off like a lack of work ethic, which didn't go well with the teams he rode for. Hopefully he's gained some maturity, and will perform well this time around.

Just b/c you blew him once, doesn't mean others can't give a shit if he won races then punked out. If he bought his own bike and is hitting the circuit, then I'm all in his corner. If he's pulling someone's chain again for some dough, hanging out in an easy chair like I am right now, piss off. Is he riding for Mitch? JBone? Who's he riding for?

How about give an opportunity to a lites rider trying to move up, instead of keeping stale old riders around. We have enough gate fillers and lapped already, but he’s a good candidate to compete for those 12-18th place slots. Those positions still pay out better than a government or construction wage

Hill finished top 10th overall the last time he raced sx. Which lites rider who isn't a factory guy do you think could beat him? Weird take.

Just take a look at the current 250 riders hitting the 24-25 year old mark with no plan to move up. Nichols, Cooper, mcelrath, Martin, hampshire all without substantive 450 rides due to these older hangarounds not riding off into the sunset / taking their goggle prep retirement jobs

I get what you're saying. I don't hate the guy.....I just feel he blew a lot of opportunities.

Anybody remember that he IS a lights champion? Regardless he has eclipsed the level that so many haven’t or ever will!, yet so many are bashing him for his return. He is not in the same category as JLAW or IZZI yet people are comparing the three of them.

Wasn’t JLaw a one time Lites champ too? How are they not in the same category? I think JLaw had more success in 450 SX

In terms of better scoring finish in 450 SX, I’m pretty sure Jlaw’s second is better than hills best finish.

Start your own race team and hire your favorite lites rider.

When it naturally comes that easy you can get away with short cuts.

I think he realised in 450’s that doesn’t happen. The Weston crash had a big effect on him mentally, I heard he was pretty scared of going into first turns with a winning mindset from an interview with his brother.

Everyone has that friend who is a bit all over the show, unstable, whether is be careers, hobbies, girls. Justin seems a bit like that. So much talent, good at many things, motivation comes and goes.

His brothers relationship with his new team probably means he will take this seriously. I don’t think he will want to let everyone down.

Your logic doesn’t hold water. A spot is a spot. Earn it!

Wishing Justin the best. Rooting for him. I always thought it was weird that people like hanny always got a free pass and is still
Looked at as cool and has style and not wasted talent.. but hill gets shit for pretty much the same career path.

Jlaw was Justin's downfall. Being friends with him and attempting the "outlaw" image destroyed his credibility. It didn't work for either of them.

Hill is talented and could still post results if he puts in the effort. I wish him the best.

My guess is you are not very good at math. According to the numbers 8993 people have looked at this post so far. If only 2% of the keyboard warriors had more talent than him it would be 180 people. My guess is that at the most 2 of those 8993 people that have read this thread have his level of talent. Even that number is doubtful. He has top 5 talent on any starting gate he ever lines up on. He is a bad dude on a dirt bike.

Big question is that if he takes a rider out next year will they consider it a "pit maneuver?" (Cop joke)

Very presumptive of you. I was just making a comment based on the amount of people talking shit on the guy that in my opinion is not warranted.

So, are you saying there are more than 180 keyboard warriors with more talent than him?

Personally, I doubt that anyone who has been on a SX or MX podium in the last 2 years has read this thread and that would mean the Kid has more talent than 100% of the people reading the thread.

He is a Lights Champion.I don’t doubt his speed at all. As to a number of whose faster, that really wasn’t the point of my post but can understand how you took that.
