Can I afford it? No.

Will I be rubbing shoulders with my childhood motocross hero's? Hopefully.

Will my wife appreciate catered lunches and porta john's far away from all you hoodlums? Yes.

Will I have the best seat in the house to watch ET101, CS103, and JC102 bring home the Chamberlin trophy? Most definitely.

I have always been happy with any VIP package purchased for MX or SX or F1 and all other events or shows. My biggest stress during any large event is parking and easy access so I will pay extra for VIP packages all day long. It can be a little expensive but look it as vacation and or entertainment.

I went to Red Bud 2018. Bought VIP tickets and the cost was $750 a ticket. I thought that was a bunch. When the ticket prices came out this year, I was like no way. Good luck.

Couple tips for you in the tent:
Get to the tent first. Early, early early.
Once your in the tent, go to the table where you can see the track. Move your chairs to the edge or by the fence. People will and they will, move right in front of you.
Drink and eat all you can.

At a regular GP, the VIP pass is 400.00E per person.

You normally get : a hard card, viewing over the start, unlimited food and drink in the VIP lounge, and a couple of plastic sport cups. You can also use the flushing toilets at the VIP tent.

And, bring your backpack and you can steal some MXGP plates Laughing Shocked





I wonder what you get for all the extra money spent?

Only having 5 months on the new knee The VIP parking is what sold me on doing the Diamond section. There is supposed to be a bag of swag for each of us when we get there.

I’ll be there but slumming it. Last time I was in the VIP area at the turn after the start right before they go down the hill. They weren’t $1,850 but they also weren’t cheap. My best friend and I are going full economy class this time. Game on!

What I never understand, is isn't the "handling" the same for a $1800 ticket as it is for a $150 ticket? Why do they charge more to handle that ticket, which they don't actually handle as I am sure they email it to you. But good for you, if you can afford it, which you say you can't actually. I think I paid $50 at most to go to 07 Budd's race, and it was awesome to walk around infield and see all the people from all over the world. Not sure if you will get that same experience in a tent, but you can always leave and hang out with the rest of the working class stiffs in general admission. I still remember when RV came around drop off leading the race on his 250F and hearing a crowd full of Americans going crazy. I hope you get those same memories.
