The whole, “I’m doing it for the fans?” That is BS.
Honda has Sexton and 2 Lawrence bros. I think they are good.
Why would he think its a good idea to basically boast about he's a free agent and let the offers roll in, while half the podcast he was talking about his sickness and how he constantly gets sick and can't stay healthy. Its like he expects to sign with a Factory team while basically being an injured rider.
I used to say on here that Kenny is a marketing treasure for the teams he rides for but he's destroying his marketing creditability by these interviews and odd instagram posts.

I doubt he will sign anything before WSX is over and then I wouldn't be shocked if he resigns with Honda if healthy.
I'm a Roczen fan, but I think both parties got what they needed...ugly or not. I just hope he finds a championship caliber ride.
This isn't about Kenny... this is about Honda and other companies like KTM snubbing their nose at WSX... where is their incentive to be exclusive to Feld/MXSports??? have deals been made? have checks been cut to be exclusive to a specific promotor?
Everybody knows ET3 got in for some of that Phat WSX cash... but Webb is pissed because KTM told him "NO!".... KRoc is pissed because Honda told him "NO!".... But ET3 will probably make over a half million in "just show up" cash that most of the other top riders will not get because of who they ride for....
Lastly... about Kenny... after watching the podcast... I wish Kenny would take a year off.. kinda pull a Dungey, but not as long.... LOL... Kenny's body and mind both need healing.. dude has been sending it every weekend since he was 4... now he has tons of weird issues thanks to injuries and a brutal schedule... I wish he would take a year off and just heal... no riding.. no training... just getting his body and mind back to normal... he has been band-aiding his health issues for years... he needs to actual fix them with a long time off... oh and.. IMO some Jocko Willink would do his mind a world of good... K-Roc was spewing wayyyy too many excuses in that podcast...
Why didn’t Ken sign the offer before it was retracted? Did it really state No off season races and that’s why he was holding out?
I’m not buying it.
Honda can add in contract no support offered for off season races, any injuries occurred from said races will incur salary sacrifice= problem solved.
This was an easy out for Honda to get him off the team. They have their stars and Kenny showed this year he’s out of the championship hunt. I hope he proves them wrong!
"It's true the offer included a stipulation that Ken not compete in a series that has positioned itself as a direct competitor to our super cross and motocross racing partners"
Only if they would have just decided to be a fall off season series....
This new series is already on thin ice, totally unproven and unknown and only two races. Plus history has shown it is a tall task to make this work. Feld tried (and failed) for 10 years or so. If feld can’t make it work, how was some rando promoters from across the globe backed with Arab money going to make it work in foreign countries? The whole thing gives me flashbacks to Competition Park!
The OEM’s are standing by the USA partners that take the risk in renting a out stadiums and putting together promotional packages and selling tickets and generally that do a good job providing a good race environment that helps showcase the brands and products that OEM’s sell.
Same for Kawasaki USA, Yamaha USA. Ktm is a little more continental in their approach, but not at the risk of diluting their existing investments…
Pit Row
They just put on a PR clinic with that release. GG Kenny, that's a wrap.
