Pretty funny what he says about Alessi.

Dya think Stewarts kicking himself that he's not riding the Nationals?

I kind of get the feeling he has come to the conclusion that this could be the end of a massive journey in 2009

A joke by Steve as many US fans either call all foreigners Euro's or have no clue where they came from country-wise. Yes?

Suzuki will find the money for RD and CR in 2010-2011 but that will prolly be it...

Does that mean De Coster retires soon if Suzuki don't run a team? Wonder if anyone else will make him an offer.

Awesome interview, you really have to appreciate his outlook on it all. It would probably be different if he was still really new and trying to prove himself, but he is right he is a proven commodity for a big team. They know what they are going to get.

To paul's point about shorty in another thread, Reed is definately a guy that can walk away with his head held high and not sweat what he has accomplished.

Plus, in a sport filled with homeschool dropouts, how nice is it to read something that sounds like the person could actually complete whole sentences appropriately?!?!

It'd be a shame to see Reed leave so early, but hopefully he can get a ride, even if it isn't with Suzuki.

I can definately understand him wanting to get away from the Outdoors for a couple years, but I think everyone is taking a pay cut right now.

If Reed couldn't get a ride setup for next year you'd almost think that feld might want to step up and cover some of the pay of their poster guys. Without Reed there may be another guy to step up... but Reed knows he can win at round one. All others will have to prove it to themselves. Can you imagine if he was never signed last year? Would have been a terribly boring supercross season.

Interview could have been better. You need to ask him the hard stuff, like "Does cancer run in your family".

Guessing here. No. Stewart seems to be having the vacation of his life. Riding with fans, Visiting places he wants, doing what he wants for a first time in a long time.

I think it is safe to say Mr. Stewart is quite happy this summer.

He's a poet. "Grip it and rip it," and "in it to win it" etc.

Team blue needs riders and chad and keith mccarty are still buddies so ya never know.

You could have james, chad and JG all on blue next year.....on 3 different teams.

Reed will be back in 2010 regardless of the money.

But he's just letting the bike brands read it out in the public....that he is serious about his salary demands......and letting the fans in on the fact that the offers ain't enough....yet.
