I don't think most people understand how impressive what Dungey did this year really is. James Stewart at his peak, no doubt one of the best to ever do it. But his last five years of MX was a major decline from his peak. On the other hand, Dungey was winning until he retired. I took a look at there last five years, which happen to be the same, 2012-2016. Stewart: 28 races for 4 overalls. Broken down a little further, 56 motos, with 8 moto wins. Dungey: 51 races for 25 overalls. 102 motos, with 43 moto wins. Plus, Dungey is nearly 4 years younger. I don't think there's any way at 36 years old that Stewart could even come close to what Dungey did this year, much less win. And yes I realize you're probably meaning indoors for Stewart, but I don't think it would be much different.

The ONE time in Dungey’s entire career he decided to be aggressive. And he’s never said a word about it.

Dungey was known for being a clean rider. Could it be the other 1000 times James hit the dirt by his own account that ended his career early?🤫🙄

Yes because he basically ended Stewart’s career with that one and he knows it was a BS move

You guys are nuts calling the Stew Dungey incident aggressive. James cot way down on that corner like he had a five second lead. Bad move on his part and unfortunate Dungey tripled into the corner on the inside.

Let's also ignore the fact that he cased the shit out of the landing and swapped his rear to the left pretty hard turning him harder towards James as he cuts down under 21. Aggressive, yes, but intentional?

The thing that really got my attention though was that he and Reed have both mentioned riding against each other in separate videos this week. Makes me wonder what they’re cooking up…
Stew’s gotta have a Kawi two banga in the shed right? And Reedy brought the old YZ out in opening ceremonies this year.
Side by side passes at Straight Rhythm would be awesome.
