I don’t think those floors are going to do well with the seams close together and nailed down, they need to float.

We did it on a buddy boat (bigger fly bridge) and it's been holding up for the past 3 seasons, but this is a cheaper material so maybe that will hurt it..

but if it comes apart, I'll redo it, it was only 75$
I think the vibration from driving is what loosens up the floors and they start coming apart. Your work look good though.

Limited time this holiday weekend, but I was able to finish up the rear wall/door and trim it out. As with most everything in the RV lots of glue for added strength..

Trimmed out the final "living" area and used as much of the old matching wood as possible to keep everything looking factory

Spent the weekend working around the house, but I did have a few hours to spend on the "living space" area of the RRVEE... trimmed out the rest of the area and bathroom. Once again used as much of the old wood and accessories as I could so everything looks like it belongs.

Right? It’s like the longest strip tease in history! You know what we’re all waiting for haha! Cool project, interested to see what you end up with for a door/loading conclusion as well.

The bike access door configuration / fabrication has to be the elephant in the room.

Not much has happened in the "garage" area yet... it's basically been the garbage room for the front work. I did start to peel off the original panel/wallpaper .

I'm leaving for a trade show tonight so no work till next week and no, not sure how I'm building the bike door just yet..:/

Made it home around 1:00am Sunday morning so after some sleep I was able to spend a few hours on the garage area.

Stripped off as much off the stock panel and replaced some seriously damaged wood I found underneath.

Ran to lowes and picked up 3 sheets of 4x8 FRP and 6 tubes of Loctite Heavy Duty glue for the walls. Pulled the window and and glued up the back wall... still no idea how Im making the rear door... :/

Great looking build!

If you keep it white get stickers made for the bottom of the doors that say Private Coach to keep the weigh scale Police from chasing you down.

It looks more cream than white with camper stripes. I don't know of any weight station police chasing down Class "C" campers, you sure you are looking at the correct picture of it?

If it doesn’t look like a typical RV and has a garage door they might think it is commercial and pull it over for not stopping at a weigh station .

It was brought to my attention that I never finished posting up the project - sorry

Due to limited space, I bought a couple of small toolboxes and made on thin taller box.

Any void in the walls was packed in with hard foam for insulation and sound.

69

And capped odd with white fiber board

More foam insulation...

72.jpg?VersionId=rtvAKLlZyrflv2

Rolled around the rear top..

 73.jpg?VersionId=uUwA

Lots if 1 x 1 aluminum angle trim..

75

Simple rubber floor from some stuff I had left over.

 76.jpg?VersionId=5S3.S3Run4 iL1IG2Dpm4pXPRDw

Time to cut the hole..

77

Sawzall made quick work - the walls are just a thin sheet of FRP glued to a 1" white foam

More aluminum angle to trim out the door opening - Fleetwood's are manufacture with steel body structure making it easy to cut big holes in without causing a problem.

79

I removed the foam from the panel I removed (pretty quick and easy)

 81.jpg?VersionId=05kClvaaebRDisR

and glued the exterior panel to a piece of 3/4 plywood

84

 85

 86.jpg?VersionId=vuqb hNfA09yk0

I used simple cargo trailer door hardware and more aluminum trim.. and done.

Total cost or the project was under 600 bucks.

Quick follow-up — I’ve been using her for a few seasons now with no issues. The floors have held together great.

I also installed a removable shelf above the bike for some extra overhead storage — super handy.

If I were to do it again, I’d probably add a wet bath system. Right now, I just use the wash hose outside to clean up and rinse off the mud.

Nice build. I've always thought I'd like a B-class RV with a small garage like that... call it a "B+" or "Super B." Yours is a little bigger, but the same idea.
