Big difference from last weeks awesome track.
Track looks pretty good and no dust. It could be worse and the racing was great. Carry on with all the whiny ass posts.

Don't understand why MX Sports goes back to Pala at end of season when it's a hot and very dry location at end of August. It definitely takes away form the visual aspect of the sport which is important in my opinion and certainly doesn't do anything for the sport. After watching racing on 10 other excellent tracks it really makes Pala look bad.
Same reason they tried MAV for streaming. Way for them to make more $$$$

Other than the rock hard sections in the back, I think it looks pretty good.

Ridden or raced?

Great track, super fun but would not want to race it for 30+.

I thought that was a perfect final track the way the racing played out… Super rough, super fast and the cream rose to the top again with 4 great races…

Shiiit…

I’ve even raced it/qualified for Mammoth on the Main Track…on my CRF450X Grinning
This is the 1st 4 Stroke Honda I ever rode there…2018…?

The palace is a Blast. Especially on a fresh YZ450F.

But, let’s not allow any of that to interfere with the Vital Bitchfest!

It's 15 minutes from my house and I hardly ever go there. Other tracks near by are worth the drive.

It's a motocross track - what's not to like?

Go find some youtube videos on the GP's at Carlsbad or the AMA National at Saddleback. If you think this track sucks you would hate the blue groove. Most old timers consider Carlsbad and Saddleback and legendary and iconic.

Perspective is everything. We got to watch 12 rounds of amazing motocross live every weekend!! STOKED!!

It may or may not be great for riding or racing from a riders prospective. But of a fan that's going as a spectator, it sucks ass!

Tomahawk is an embarrassing track to float the idea of holding a national. Gatorback is also a really bad track. All the others would be fine with the right prep

The only two tracks worthwhile tracks that have been mentioned recently as possible nationals would be monster mountain and golden pines

Are you drunk? How is tomahawk embarrassing? The only thing is could the facility handle the parking.

The track itself is amazing.

Have you watched Stepek ride there when it’s rough and deep? It’s beyond comprehension how insane that track is.

I’ve ridden tomahawk dozens of times. Usually cause it was the only track open in my area. The soil is not natural at all, the base is unbelievably hard pack freeway style. And they laid a bunch of rough sloppily cut wood chips on top. This track is also not technical at all, its not overly high speed but just sort of a silly layout in general . The quality of the dirt is really what disqualifies the track even as a suggestion for a national. And who cares about how fast some local pro can roll around a freeway

A freeway? You’ve ridden it dozens of times and refer to it as a freeway?

Sloppily cut wood chips on top? Have you only gone there in the winter or something? I’ve probably been there hundreds of times and talked to dozens of people and nobody has ever described it the way you are.

I’m not sure who you’re talking to that characterizes this place as “deep”. Literally the most hard pack track on the planet and only gets a rut in the one corner up in the woods and only after a heavy rain. The rest of the time it’s just loose wood chip burms. I’m sorry dawg but you’re track doesn’t rut up and it ain’t deep. Tomahawk is cancer and it’s another track that just gets an area qualifier every year cause the owner is pals with DC

You must have had bad luck every single time you’ve gone there.

Your mind is made up, but I’ve been there countless times where it’s prepped and so deep that even downhills you need to be on the gas to not slow down. And the uphills forget about it.

But whatever 🤷‍♂️

If you enjoy riding tomahawk then carry on. I don’t mean to let the air out of your balloon. I got so tired of having to choose between doublin and tomahawk my choices were literally to move or blow my brains out. Ended up in Arizona

Freestone should have never left the schedule.
That being said, great racing today whether you like Pala or not. Passes were made, creative lines were used. Track wasn’t overly dusty. Solid day overall

Yeah actually freestone was way hotter than Pala and race time never got cut. Good track too. The owner just said I’m not going to lose money . Very unfair how MXSports treats business partners

I ride Pala often and was getting sick of the excessive hate from all you eastcoast bros, but I have to say that track absolutely sucked balls. Horrible prep

No. The circuit has a lot of good tracks. Only two I think could go away and we happen to race one of those twice.
What other track should go? I agree on Pala sucking but I think the other tracks belong and proper mx outdoor tracks

Man, I said after round 1 and I will say it again. This shithole unless major changes doesnt deserve to be on the schedule.....my god, never mind it was the best fight in years and it comes down to this track. My sons, I have been a DC supporter forever and in fact will continue, but my fuck Pala has got to go or else be in middle somewhere....

I don’t even have a problem with Pala if it’s just one round. But honestly as a fan, I’m sort of getting tired of watching the same tracks year after year. I understand a lot of the tracks are really good and have sentimental value. But after so many years of watching high point, red bud, south wick, unadilla, budds, etc. i just get tired of seeing the same old tracks over and over . Now I understand the peanut gallery is about to crucify me because these are “the best tracks ever” and “more sentimental than Christmas”

I think Millville is the quality of track we should expect from a pro national. The fact that most of the tracks on the circuit are so much worse is sort of a testament to the failure of the MXSports legacy system

The fact that this track is even on the professional circuit blows my mind. Might be the worst track I’ve ever seen. I literally had to fast forward through the racing because I couldn’t take it.
