I'm stoked that Haiden is where he's at. From watching their channel the last couple of years, I get the impression that Haiden knows what his parents have done for him, and that he doesn't take it for granted.
He's put in the work, listens to guidance, and overall is a good kid.
As far as claimgate goes, do you really expect OEM amateur bikes to not be the best bikes out there?
Star has 2 bikes, a pro bike, and a kick ass amateur bike. They share some parts. The amateur riders are going to ride what they're given.
Ryder D's bike was for sale for $38k. I would guess Haiden's bike is worth about the same.
So, let's stop crapping on the kid, and recognize that he's earned where he's at.
I have no idea where he'll place. I hope he does well!
Haiden's bike was a Brian special built to give every advantage; if you know what that means you know why he was so possessive.

I say 5-8 range. Field in 250 doesn’t seem that deep at the moment.

I don’t really see anyone crapping on Haiden. He’s still a kid and any issues people have with things like claimgate shouldn’t fall on him. He’s been led to this place by his dad and his team and so of course he’s going to trust that they are doing what is in his best interest and letting them handle it. He’s just putting in the work and actually racing. He’ll have plenty of fans cheering for him this weekend.

It was a Star bike, with a Star mechanic maintaining it, correct? How would Brian be able to modify the bike?

Haiden still riding his am bike looks like with the stock upper kyb fork tubes and stock kyb shock body . I know they put the akit internals in the forks and shock just thought for his first pro race he would be on a full pro team bike with the black plastics and kyb kit fork tubes and a kit shock body

I would think the same but I suppose he is most comfortable on this setup for the time being.

Make accusations….lol!!! “ since Brian knew the tranny in that bike was not OEM and therefore illegal” That certainly looks like an accusation to me….

Ryder Ds Lorettas bikes have never been anything more than what you can buy yourself and they arent dumb enough to put anythimg more than the claiming price into his bikes ...The one bike i would have loved to get was Ryders supermini .ive tried but they wont part with it ..lol..

I noticed that "soreloser" name disappeared that was trolling the claimgate threads who I was convinced was Sloan. At this point it's hard to keep track of all the alt accounts.

His bike is far beyond the claiming price, his bike is 39K.

Available parts~ YES, I agree.
But I’ve put $30K into a bike without the big dollar motor. There’s a ton of bikes that guys would cry hard about losing for 2x retail.

The only account I have at vital is J. Sloan, which is my real name. As far as Deegan goes, I am looking forward to seeing how he does, and I am placing him as a possible top 5 if his conditioning is there. I certainly think his speed will be.

You need to tighten up your rev-limiter and try and blend in. You’ve really outdone yourself lately, not in a good way. Just Sayin’

Also worth saying that outside of Loretta’s every ama event it’s only 30%. So a 250f would be 11-12K

Is Deegan faster than Vohland that getting closer and closer of the top 5 ? I think he is so i wouldn't be surprised if Deegan is around the 3/8 spot and probably back down at the end of the moto because lack of 30 min intensity/pace. Kid is not afraid to send it. Lots of pressure on him and he did good up to now. I wouldn't be surprised either if he holeshot and lead some laps.

The 250 class is always where we get to watch the new riders coming up through the ranks and establishing themselves.
Deegan, Ryder D, Romano, and others are just the next batch.

Relax.
Enjoy the show.
