Where is everybody getting parts for their late model rmz 250s and why is it so difficult to find them? I'm working on a 2020 rmz 250 and am struggling to find basic engine parts. Motosport and rockymountain don't even list it under oem parts as a choice. Partzilla has the diagrams but most parts seem to be out of stock. I can't find a crankshaft at all. I haven't called a dealer yet but this seems crazy.

Just checked Rocky Mountain. Weird that the RMZ250 doesn’t even come up as an option. WTF?

I have always been a die hard Suzuki guy, but I’m really starting to hate them… they put nothing into the sport, or their products, they offer three motocross bikes that havent changed much over the years and probably never will. I just bought a 2020 rmz250 and my biggest fear is having to find parts for the thing. I also have an 06 RM250 that I’d like to restore and that’s going to be an absolute nightmare to find parts for.

Have you tried place like Webike to get them direct from Japan. I've had good luck going that route. Currently running three Suzukis.

Sad to see. All I wanted was a trick RM85 as a kid, all because of Anderson, Tomac, and all the heavy hitters they had on those bikes back in the Cole Gress days.

I didn't get it. I know it's supposed to go to my email but I checked with no luck. I'll check again later maybe it's my internet or something because it doesn't look like I've gotten any emails since 245 this afternoon

Edit: I think I found it

I have a lot of discounted new OEM Suzuki RMZ parts that may be out of stock at other places. Feel free to reach me directly at suzukipowerparts@gmail.com with any part needs. I ask that you please provide your own individual part numbers and I will let you know what I do or do not have. Thanks!

Yeah I already posted they have the diagram but most parts aren't in stock. Crank, crank bearings, intake valves, cams, etc.

418 ranch I'll be emailing you in the next couple days. Lemme get some part numbers together.

Yes he is. Had a chance to visit his shop and wow! Everything you need plus some and great guy to deal with. I did not want to list his info on here publicly, just in case, so glad you replied 418 Ranch.

I haven't kept up with the changes year to year for suzuki, but is there any difference between a 2020 rmz250 and a 2022 rmz250?
It looks like rocky mountain has an oem option for the 2022 rmz's. Not sure if that helps at all though..

Looked on Wiseco and they do not offer the newer models as a complete crank. I didnt look at what years it fits but they do offer a high performance rod kit.

Not sure about the crank but the new 250 motor was in 2019

Not sure if anyone else here mentioned them but Babbbitts Suzuki.

The only negative is they take up to a week to actually ship the items sometimes.

This makes my stomach turn. I have an 06 RM250 and it's a great bike... It's in transit to me now, had to ship it from my Dad's place in Idaho.

Has sat for a decade, going to get suspension done, fluids, gaskets, probably a top end...

At the same time seems like this bike is kind of a novelty, a collectible, I see them for sale for big $.

What parts are the hardest to find?

I'm thinking I get it up and running and baby it. Ride it a few times a year to keep up with it, but maybe grab me a YZ125 just to throw around and ride hard, have fun, do a little racing, rip some trails.

Crossed the part # back to a 2018 since thats the newest motosport has listed. Crankshaft is the same number and they have it in stock. CRANKSHAFT ASSY #12200-49H20

The 22 is basically identical which makes them not listing the 20 even more confusing. I'm still gonna get with 418 ranch first before spending extra money

If interested in a big bore kit we can assist with that
Most other parts are scarce with my east coast distributor
