Just to help put your mind at ease a little bit… I went out and started my two stroke with the radiator cap off and there were bubbles in the coolant. Like I mentioned earlier, this could be cause by the vibration from the engine running and doesn’t necessarily indicate a concern.

Having James in the booth is so great. Yes he uses words and phrases incorrectly at times, but he doesnt let it get in his head and just rolls with it. Not to mention the dude is funny. What a treat getting to hear about big James's signals to Malcolm from James calling him a chicken flapping his wings. Then the Lt. Dan reference. Had me laughing out loud. Great to have him back!

There very well could be an issue but I think it would be a good idea to verify that and pin point it before you go ripping this thing apart looking for something that isn’t even there. Bubbling in the radiator could be from air trapped in the system. I’m assuming your buddy didn’t take the time to bleed the...
Is it using coolant? If you bleed the air out of the system, ride it, let it cool and check it and it isn’t low I think it’s fine. I can’t say I’ve ever had the engine running on a bike with radiator cap off but that could just be air in the cooling system. I wouldn’t be tearing it...

Appreciate the info! I’m going to try to put some more time on it to see if it’s something I can just get use to. If I decide to make some changes I’ll definitely be in touch as it seems like youve already been through all this, and then some lol.

Bike is 100% stock. I rode it the other day and it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I still would like to get it to feel a little more “progressive” if that’s even possible, if not I’ll just try to adjust to it.

It’s definitely worth the money. Bike revs quicker and just pulls. Suzuki has the rich, lean, and standard ecu couplers, I have tried them all. Nothing compares to a vortex that has been tuned.

Anyone have a fix for this? Just picked up a low hour 2022 crf450 and the front brake is like a light switch. Front wheel spins freely, master cylinder isn’t binding. I feel like this thing is going to throw me over the handlebars if I get a little arm pump or hit some braking bumps and can’t precisely pull...

So I’ve found that if I kick it over 3-4 times with the throttle wide open, and the close the throttle and kick it, it will start within 2-3 kicks. Once the bike is hot it will start right up so no problems there. But that procedure seems to be working well so far to get it started cold. I’m...

Yes have done the tps procedure, bike has around 25 hours. Can’t picture it being a spark plug or injector issue as it always starts right up with the OEM ecu, but at this point I really don’t have a clue why this is happening.

I recently bought a vortex ecu from twisted development for my 2020 rmz250. I absolutely love the way the bike runs, but I can barley get the bike to start, mostly when cold it seems. I called twisted development and they were cool, they send me a label and had me send it back to check it out. They put...

Yes.. it is the most cost effective noticeable change you can make on a bike (engine wise). I just recently put a vortex ecu on mine mapped by twisted development. I am happy with the performance but honestly their customer service in my experience isn’t the greatest. There’s almost no chance you’ll ever be able to talk to the guy...

According to vortex and TD I just have to kick it over holding the kill switch throttle closed and then again throttle open. I’ve tried this multiple times and concern is still present. I’ve tried kicking it fast, slow, multiple times in each position and nothing seems to make a difference. Thought maybe it was fuel related as I started...

Reason I’m asking is my bike barley wants to start hot or cold since putting the ecu in it. I’m wondering if having all the fuel trims set to 5 is making it too rich. I did do the tps relearn as per the instructions. And if I pull out the cold start knob it really doesn’t want to start...
