I’m not sure I can take much more in on this topic.

If only the adults didn’t bully the kid out of it with “concerns he’d be blackballed” even though what they’ve essentially done is blackball him anyway, and if they just let the kid take the bike, we’d be talking about the closest 450mx championship we’ve seen in almost forever…

I'll pass on the Hopper and Cooskey video. One was enough... its a clown show now.

Kudos on Vital and Pulp trying to get all stories but at this point, the other parties saw the shitstorm and are probably hiding shit.

Bottom line, this young man got fucked. Someone pressured him and the claiming policies need to be updated so this chaos does not happen again. The factories have an unwritten rule not to claim a compeitior's bike - no issue with it, but the claiming rule keeps the factories in check. That said, PC marketed its Racer X (Ryder D) bike for $40k+. How can family afford to compete? Perhaps, the AM racing needs to elimiate A-Kit suspension and few more mods (limit the bike's cost to $25k - keep the claiming rule). I cannot believe nobody claimed a DMC bike or Factory Connection 150.

My comment about this video in one of the other billion threads:

I'm not familiar with Hopper....his interview skills are not that great. He spoke too much and didn't let the kid talk enough. ...and what was with the "motivational tutorials". WTF.

That said..... the point about Brian Deegan putting out the fake comments (Brennan calling Hiaden a pussy etc).....that's pretty f***king low man.

Douche move level 10.

Admittedly, I don't really know much about Haiden Deegan....but I hope he doesn't end up like his old man.

The dealer pulling the bikes back from Brennan..... I loathe cancel culture.... but in this case, it's deserved....I hope his business suffers.

You should've seen how many clauses like that are in all the sponsor contracts I had to sign in relation to the team I had. Laughing

At the end of the day he got screwed out of the bike. He didn't bring 17k cash and make the claim and plan to back out of the deal and get the money back. He got pressured out of it. All these industry guys want to jack off the deegans because their the cool guys. Let's say they opened the motor and star was cheating how bad would that blow up that the best team right is cheating at loretta. Obviously everyone that was in on this is gonna make it out like they did no wrong but at the end of the day why else did he back out of the deal? If it wasn't turned into a big deal then the sponsor from canada wouldn't of even found out this fast and been pressured either

Wither they dropped him because they were being pressured by Yamaha or they dropped him because they don't want to be associated with a kid who attempted to claim a bike - either way that's pretty fked up.

Hoping this kid gets some other great support, maybe move to another brand.

I get it....and support that right if someone does something egregious.

In this case and IMO, the kid did nothing wrong to deserve being dumped.

All of the screenshots he posted saying Brennan had it out for him long before this, they were literally screenshptted and then someone wrote in comments to look like Brennan was the one doing it. This was what I read anyway

How about this under Section 4.2 of the AMA rulebook:

"A. OFFENSES
This list is provided as guidance to competitors but does not restrict
the AMA and meet Referee from invoking penalties for other actions
detrimental to the sport that are not specifically contained herein."

"19. Engaging in any unfair practice, misbehavior or action
deemed by the referee or the AMA to be detrimental to the
sport."

Seems to me like there's a catchall rule to prevent generalized bad behavior that is detrimental to the sport.
