Just watched Brian's live YouTube. Which has now been deleted... said motor builder out of Texas gave the kid the money for the claim... said everyone was professional about it.... talked about a bunch of stuff... but he was driving so the live feed froze up from time to time... he finally pulled over... I kept worrying he was gonna crash live on youtube as he would try to keep up with all the live messages... lol.. seemed to be railing on some youtube channel a bunch (cooksey?).... he seemed in rant mode....

I just got off the phone with Davey about it. I have Cotter’s number but I’m still waiting to hear from the kid of his family who made the claim. Until then, I don’t know what I’m asking Cotter or Donnie Luce about as the story I wAs told came from a source who spoke to Harris…

I’m not going to waste my time without an on the record claim from the “accusing” party.

I can’t picture Brian caring about an $8500 profit even if the bike was stock.. I imagine he’d want to keep his kids last AM bike.

Also why do people act like factory bikes have these forbidden parts that no one knows about?? I don’t think star has any hidden secrets in their bike compared to PC and Honda.

Nobody here knows what’s inside a Star, PC or factory Honda motor, and they don’t want you to know. Only certain people within the teams are allowed to pull them apart.



I don’t think for one second that Star had some mystery cheater motor in there, but what I would bet is the head/cam and ecu combo inside that bike had some special sauce going on and someone else wanted to pirate that sauce.

Reminds me I have a yz 250 cylinder paperweight from Harris in my garage. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he was trying to claim a bike to tear an engine down.

If you called him tomorrow he’d tell you that because he’s gods gift to engine building his yz250f engine package out performs the star bike as it is anyways.

You're assuming that the source ML told to pass his contact info along to the kids family actually did that. You're not doing any better than the guys assuming Star cheated.

All this talk about this kid from Don M. and ML. So we all know know press for MX are scared to expose any real press because the mx community is so small and press can easily be shunned. I’m not sure why this is a surprise to anyone.
I really don’t care any way the ball rolls but to see these media types chime in with their 2 cents when they have a hard time asking a difficult question to a rider is quite funny. Real life, am and pro riders are pampered and have the upper hand on the media. The sport is small and media is scared.
It’s funny to think that we will ever get the real story. If we did, the person that exposed it will get black balled.

First of all I’m not swap and Bullshit, ML has reached out to talk to the kid and his family and they haven’t responded as of yet(albeit through the engine builder who is obviously Kooksey’s source)…but then he could just make shit up or only talk to one source like Kooksey…
