ML,

Please ask if they will consider opening up merchandise sales to the teams and riders.

Genuinely wondering, are they desperate or receptive enough to finally, finally, reconsider their lame displacement / two stroke rules? Seems a massive win for privateers and I'm sure full gates are what we all want. The price difference in racing a 250 of each type at that level (midpack pro's) must be massive.

As long as the streaming / viewing service is the same clusterfuck as we are used to from the rest of the american racing series, WSX will have no problem to come out on top. 🤣

The press release keeps mentioning the word global. What is going to change to take the two series from its current state of being 100% American to being global?

The timing of the unveil definitely makes it seem reactionary to WSX but since they said it’s been in the works for 2 years, perhaps the WSX gave them the kick in the butt they needed to finally piece it together?

Since the outdoors will be losing a round making it an 11 round series, I’m assuming they won’t be going to Pala twice anymore, right? Please.

Will the SuperMotocross Champion run a different colored background the following year? Do they run a #1 plate?

Sounds pretty interesting for sure, not so big on the name but racing in the LA Coliseum again will be awesome!

2nd question, if you have the tenacity, will they be letting loose the monopoly on merchandise at the races to allow teams other avenues of creating revenue. Along with allowing things like, a Toyota truck in the pits if a team is sposored by Toyota but the series is sponsored by another manufacturer for example.

Still way less than the pay to play the teams pay WSX....all sports pay whether it be through franchise fees or entry fees....

Matthes tweeted that these races are planned to take place in Atlanta and Austin, Texas at COTA. So we can instantly laugh about the global and "world championship" part of this. This is 100% because they want to fend of WSX and keep riders racing domestically in North America.

This is such a knee-jerk reaction to WSX. Yes i'm well aware they're going to try to convince people this has been in works way before WSX entered the industry, allow me to doubt that (at least in the form of a 10 million purse). WSX brought a new concept for riders and teams to a market that wasn't being filled (global races). Nobody in the American industry wanted more races in America. Isn't 29 enough? With that said, anytime riders (and teams, no talk about teams getting more pay in this PR) get more paid it's a positive thing.

Doubt they know, buttttt will there be a new video game coming out with all supercross and motocross tracks? Lie to me and say "yes".

I’m curious on a few things. With 44 riders, I’m assuming that means they will have some sort of qualifying for a final race. So will the format pretty much follow the current supercross format? Are they considering any others?
Points system similar to supercross or motocross? Or new?
Purse breakdown? Does Jett get all of it when he wins?
250s & 450s combined? Separated with a combined SuperMotocross Superfinal?
Supercross and Motocross champion get bonus points to start the playoffs?

How much of an increase is the $10m purse over what the combined SX/MX purses are now? And does all that go to the riders?

Its a start...

Do they have a media plan? How are the fans going to be able to watch the races at home? Will there be a network TV deal? What about a reliable streaming service?

Will the SuperMotocross be triple crowns since only 22 riders qualify?

What are playoff rounds? Do the top 10 get a shot at the last race of the year?

Do total points mean anything? Or just for qualifying?

Will there be whoops?

Not to me. I'm just poking at them cause its sad that it takes the idea of loosing their golden goose egg to (potentially) treat their riders fairly, or at least just listen to what they actually feel they needed all this time.

But what will happen to like the British series, Canadian triple crown, Australia SX, ect? Will rider start leaving these series and slowly kill them off?
I don't know. I kind of believe if you can't pay guys that risk life and limb for your TV show then you might not deserve to host them. Maybe that's too black and white though. I hate to even say it but I would rather a rider gets what they feel is fair compensation even if it means i lose a show to watch. There has to be some balance of course, they both need each other to succeed to be honest but it sucks to hear top riders voice their opinions on these podcasts and it seeming to fall on deaf ears. Sometimes its nice just posting my opinion on a forum vs having to deal with all the intricacies of trying to run a successful mx program Dizzy

Ask how they plan to protect the MXoN with their scheduling.

WSX had the opportunity to fill a space for an off season series but they chose to compete with outdoor MX...This deal guarantees that there will be no US based factory riders in WSX next year...it will be interesting if WSX will be able to even get a quality stadium in the US to hold a round...

MXGP / InFront is aware of this schedule and they're working together as far as I'm aware to ensure the space for MXdN.

Not for me. I’m probably in the minority, but it greatly saddens me how much sport in general is abandoning its roots in the relentless search of cash. I suppose it was inevitable really but it still sucks IMO

Not to sound ungrateful, 35,000 attendees x 16 Events people paying to watch this, plus television commercials. $10 million is all they could come up with for the series?

This is what we wanted. Supercross on a World Stage.

Hopefully all 3 series on 1 single streaming platform for a reasonable price.

If this means more speedway races I'm all in

So the first round of this, would be after the conclusion of 2023 Motocross? Not this coming october?

How many more races are these riders suppose to endure?

interesting all of sudden there is big purse money available...........

don't the riders deserve it today?

competition in the market place sure does reveal some very interesting things doesn't it.

funny thing is the competition now sees there is opportunity, this sport will now change a bunch.

lets hope it's better.

The OEMs are not down for adding a bunch of races. You'll see MX Sports and Feld each have to cut a round to make this happen. That should bring us up to 30 events total (not counting MXdN)
