BarX Team Washougal results

Great job to the BarX Suzuki team with all four of their riders on the track for the first time this year.
And all four made top 16!!

Looking forward to seeing what they can do the rest of the way.

I was watching thinking that too. Whoever is building and maintaining those engines is doing a great job. Just shows that the bike is competitive. Maybe not for a podium, but in the right hands it could be top five. As Alex martin showed a couple of years ago.

I remember one of the washougal holeshot replays on the weekend and there was a gaggle of Suzuki's at the front, was like going back in time.

The aging punk rocker in me wants to go trade in my Huskies for Zooks. Just to be a contrarian. Plus the BarX and most of the time Twisted Tea teams have some of the best looking bikes in the pro pits.

But they do have a kickstarter…

Closest shop is a suzuki dealer. So I agree. The 250 is massively underrated.

If you’re 5’4” or shorter the Suzuki works great for you. Any bigger and you’re selling yourself short.

Amart legit won a Moto on the 250 in 2020 and hit the podium multiple times.

A rider like Jett would still probably win the title on the bike now.

Riders like Hunter and Shimoda would probably still be stacking podiums.

Can’t say that would be surprising. Another manufacture could give them more support. They’ve seem to have done a lot with a little from Suzuki.

Who is funding that team? What the hell is a "BarX"?

I know Chapparal is a sponsor, but I'm assuming with Twisted Tea getting the 250 effort next year, ain't got money/bikes to spare. Teams like this always confuse me from a funding perspective. What sponsors are contributing a million bucks to get this team on the road and paid every round? I know most industry sponsors are likely just providing parts with maybe a few bucks here and there, but that's not enough to fund Larry Brooks, and team all year.

I haven't heard any complaints about RMZ ergos for larger riders, or really at all (250 & 450 use same chassis/bodywork). I mean, ergos are personal, but it seems like one of the areas the bike is mostly preferred to other manufacturers.
