That could have been very bad. My father broke a hip a couple weeks ago from a basic fall in the house.

Not saying he isn't fit and tough. ....it's just a fact, you bruise and break a lot easier in advanced years. It takes longer to heal too.

Roger gets taken out, goes into the ambulance but returns to work after getting checked over. Unreal. Never has a title been more appropriate for a person than The Man is for Roger DeCoster. Would the Vitard who posted The Man doesn't get around the pits like he used to please go to the White Courtesy Phone for a STFU message?

No doubt about it - can't completely beat father time, but his fitness and fortitude lead to a much better outcome than most 77 yr olds, I'm certain. Glad he's just a little beat up...bummer deal for the guy that (accidentally) took out The Man!

isnt it weird that the only way or reason we know how Roger is doing because some post from Lars ended up getting screenshotted and posted to Vital? And a day later?

Must b a good 50 years since the last dutch rider took Decoster out on a start straight! Glad he escaped with just cuts & bruising. That could of been worse. I bet he is in the workshop for 7am monday morning trying to work out what happened Dungeys bike in the first moto.

The Man was ok. A little banged up, but went to the medical truck and got cleaned up and was back out watching the remainder of the 450 moto.

That was me. I said it and still stand by it. I've been visiting with Roger at the races for a long time. He rarely stands still so most conversations were on the move. I'm a fast walker but Rog could motivate at a good clip.

I didn't say he was frail or fragile...I said he doesn't move at the speed he used to carry. In no way did I insinuate that he's ready for a walker or to be put out to pasture. I'm ready to fight anyone that says I'm not his #1 fan...and always will be.

There wasn’t so much being said in the alpinestars medical unit. I only found out there I hit him. But was coughing up blood myself so we weren’t so speakable the both of us.

Heard we are both ok. I should have no broken bones, neither does Roger as i’ve heard of. Just sore as..

He's back in California today and resting per his former wife.

Banged up pretty good and has some shoulder injuries.

The footpeg to the back of the head in Belgium and the 70 MPH crash from the front end of the RN coming off at Sears Point didn't get him. This time he survived a whole motorcycle.

The Man is a tough dude.
