My old man has a Winchester Model 70 that's maybe been cleaned twice in over 40 years. It's also killed probably 70+ Deer and 50+ Elk during that time but not a single person.

If its faulty maintenance/cleaning, where are all the deaths stacking up from the folks who do the same shit but don't shoot a Remington?

I won't continue to derail the thread but to act like Vista ruined Remington is pure head in the sand mentality. Remington ruined themselves.

Remington was successfully sued for 73 million dollars by the families of the sandy hook shooting victims who were ginned up by anti-gun activists. this was the final nail. Remington's manufacturing quality control had already gone to hell by then.

You’ve got a 40 year old rifle that hasn’t killed anybody on it’s own? Not sure how my argument will ever recover.

Yes Remington ruined themselves. The trigger mechanism was not the issue.

If all this turns out to be is A Mart retiring, then I will be convinced that there is no need for me to listen to PulpMX or pay any attention to what Matthes says in the future. If he wants to be considered a serious journalist then this isn't the way to achieve that.
