Somehow I see Kawasaki making this happen.

I think he may go straight to the Kawi factory team like James did?

What makes you think that ? I’d love to see it, but I don’t see that happening again with Kawasaki.

Well I don’t see Kawi letting him go and it looks like the roster is full at PC and Ryder currently doesn’t have a contract for 2023

If another team scoops him up off Kawi that would be a huge win. Crazy Kawi would put this much into him and he produces and then don’t sign him.

Surprise nobody has started a thread about this yet. Really impressed with this kid and interested to see how he does next weekend too. Part of me hopes they have him go and race LL since it’s only 2 hours from my house and I’d love to watch him have his last ride there the other part of me hopes they keep him in the pros all season and we got to add him into the mix and make for even better racing
He won't be at Southwick. But he will be at Millville

There’s no way they’ll let him go. They let Hymas go to Honda to keep Ryder.

He finished 1:13 back. I'm not trying to be a prick, but he faded more than a top amateur should. Maybe I have too high of expectations, or maybe the thread the next great American rider is telling because we are okay with mediocrity today.

Keep in mind Trey Canard finished 4th in his 2nd moto ever after Loretta's. Eli Tomac won Hangtown overall. I think the kid rode well, but there is no denying he faded and needs to work on his speed (see laptimes compared to the top 5 guys).

No, I can't do better, but I'm also not one of the next big things to hit the scene either.

He also put it to the 411 kid who’s been racing the whole series…. And he fell first Moto also.

.He ran in the top 5 almost the whole race and was still top 10 at the 30 min mark Thats not to bad for someone that didnt even know he was racing Red Bud until a couple weeks ago .He definitly hit a wall the last three laps but Im sure he will take care of that problem I heard someone say that after the first moto the first thing he said was OK NOW I KNOW I CAN RUN WITH THESE GUYS. and it showed in the second moto..Like most of you .Ive watched this kid since he first won Lorettas at 5yrs old and he has always found a way to win even when he was .at a disadvantage on 65s and 85s I just dont see anything changing anytime soon .the kid is way to good

Maybe he really doesn't have a ride and doesn't want to point out for Loretta's. He is in for Millville but not Southwick. Who knows.

X2. Bummer we haven't got to see much from Reynolds. Romano is going to be solid

Star will buy him 😂
Why they grabbed Jordan Smith and not this kid blows my mind, you know they knew he had no ride lined up yet. He's younger, at least the same speed, not injured every series. Doesn't make any sense. Is he a pain in the ass like the rumors about Marchbanks? I have a feeling PC/Kawi is gonna regret this big time.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more confident I am that Mitch is just going to run a six man team. It just wouldn’t make any sense if he went anywhere else.

Harsh but fair, if I was Mitch I would see if they could take him under factory rig to make space for Ryder

This. When Austin got his gig with Mitch, Ryder was still on 65's, and my son was entering his Jr year of High school. Fast forward a spell, now Ryder is old enough to legally compete at the pro level drive, and my son is close to his mid 20's, so maybe it's time to pass the slot at PC over to some deserving talent with a clean slate. Austin could use a scenery change in my opinion, and Ryder has more than earned the spot. I wish them both the best.

I agree that a change of program/scenery is needed for Austin, but he’s signed with PC through 2023.
