Just got my boy his first 4-stroke, 2022 RMZ250. Got a smoking deal on it, and he loves it. He’s been on 2-strokes since 4 years old. Finally talked me into a 4-stroke, and I wasn’t paying 10 grand for one. That will come later, this has plenty of power for him at this time. He doesn’t mind kicking it one bit, we’re sick of all the hate on these bikes. We don’t care about the magic button. But we still have his 2018 YZ250 2-smoker, she’s not going anywhere. Got the pics backwards

Hell yea!! Zuks are awesome. I’ve ridden my buddy’s brand new 450 a handful of times and it’s a blast. Maybe a touch better than my 17 crf. Congrats on the new bike

Wasn’t trying to apologize really, I just read so much Suzuki bashing, I was just preparing myself for it. I agree great bikes.

Have owned and still do own multiple Zooks. Great all around bikes! I'm sure he will absolutely love it!! Also, as a fellow dad, I too get a ton of enjoyment out of watching our son's excitement when we got him a new dirt bike. Good job man!

The RMZ 250 is a great bike but… the stock head pipes will not last and the bolts and tapped holes are shady at best.

One lucky boy! Congrats! I remember coming home to my first brand new bike in 2006. Now as an adult, I have so much more respect and gratitude for my old man and the sacrifices he made to buy me that. Way cool

Absolutely nothing wrong with those Zooks. Just get the suspension dailed in for him.

You are a great dad Mungusman and your boy is goona have a blast riding that bike.

Furthermore, the quality time with your boy in the garage maintaining the bike is wonderful. You shared Happiness and this is a great post on Vital.

Keep us updated...Silly

This thread is way better than mine, you made the right decision, congratulations.

Watch the front chain slider, and the side panels were eating into my subframe. I added rubber O rings behind the side panels to keep it off the subframe, just keep an eye on it.

It’s an inside Vital joke. “Kid” on here named TyLeR is passionate about his Suzuki’s, The Big Show, and Texas.

Congrats to your boy on the new machine!! If I ever decided to ditch my RM125, I'll be picking up an RMZ250 myself.

I'd ride that Suzuki any day of the freakin' week! I'd also say , that if your boy digs it , and you got a good deal , that's all that matters!

I might just have to get an RMZ that’s one beautiful bike and with all the hate they get I would love nothing more than to fly past some steel framed e start 4 strokes on one

Also have never owned a suszuki
