Yes that is correct, same forks.

I had the chance to ride a 22 husky fc350 yesterday. (I have 22 ktm 350) while I did like the lowered suspension a little , it did seem a little more harsh than my ktm (we have near identical set up) . I like the more precise handling of the KTM over the husky and hated the bodywork , I kept catching my boot on the shrouds it wasn't a problem on ktm . I had my kx450 with me yesterday and the track was pretty slick so I was definitely faster on the 350 .
I'm getting KYB inserts for my ktm so can't wait to ride it when that's done .

I do get a kick out of seeing 350s with thousands of dollars of motor hop-up parts on them to make them more powerful.

2 of my good riding buddies own 350’s and I refuse to ride them, I’m afraid I’m going to love it.

A 350 with spring conversion forks and either a remapped ECU (older models) or a Vortex is the best bike I’ve ever rode. I have my ‘17 setup so well I’m not even jonesing for a new bike like normal. Completely happy. 14/51 gearing, remapped ECU, spring conversion and revalve on the shock, 2T filter cage, some real bar mounts and you’re good to go.

Loving my KR edition 350, a little too flashy for me but oh well. I put a Vortex ecu and a nihilo chain tensioner on it and it's been mint.

The same kick out of people that hop up 450s and 250s?

I feel the same, when they could just try a 30 dollar 13t drive sprocket. Most of the comments I read are about trying to get more bottom. Well this easy mod makes the bike come out of the hole wayyyy harder.

I didn’t like the feel of that. Too herky-jerky down low and the only gears I used were pretty much 3rd and 4th. 14/51 with a remap or Vortex feels a lot better than 13/50 or 13/51 with stock map…

Hey guys.....on the 2022 350SXF.....are you all running the stock maps? I know the bike can run better and more crisp but i don't want to spend $1000 on an Vortex. Have you found places that can maneuver through the stock map setup (i've heard the 2021-2022 system is "locked out.") What are you all doing? the stock mapping leaves something to be desired. What's the story on this?

My favourite map set up when I had mine was fast map (map 2?) but with TC turned on.
It felt like a map between 1 and 2 and was perfect for me.

A modded 350 doesn't mean that the owner is trying to make the 350 a 450. Even a fully modded 350 is a totally different experience than a stock/modded 450. If I could find a comfort zone with the 350 gearing then it would be the ultimate bike. It just hasn't happened yet. But if it happens then I would have no use for a 450 ever again. But right now I'm on a slightly modded 250F, which I also like better than a 450. Each bike (250, 350 or 450) is it's own experience and benefits. I don't think modding a 250 or 350 means that "you should've just bought a 450 if you wanted more power." Assuming that is what you are implying?

Totally agree had a 350 thought it was slightly too much leading to mistakes when tired (we have races longer than 3 laps over here lol) so now have a modded 250f (2nd injector, vortex ignition etc)
Even though the 250 is great I find the gears run out a little quick and the gap between 3rd and 4th too big. Going to try and get it re-mapped but in hindsight maybe I should have just got the 350 mapped to suit instead…

Have been on 450s since 2015. Latest one was a 20.5 FE. My dad bought himself a husky 350 and I had a ride on it one day and started turning faster lap times on it and was a whole lot more fun to ride! So ended up getting one at the start of the year, best decision I’ve made!

Picked up a nice low hour 350 last weekend. First time owning a KTM. Has some nice bolt-ons such as XTrig clamps, a steering damper and slip on exhaust.

I noticed the spokes are anodized black- Is that OEM? Also the clutch slave doesn’t look stock?

Hoping to ride it this weekend.

Nice! Oem spokes are black. That’s not a stock slave. Maybe a cover?

I had my shock done by TZR along with KYB fork and it was a very nice improvement . It's too bad we have to sink so much coin into the euro suspension on what otherwise is a great bike

I know the new stuff is way better than early aer forks, but I genuinely can't believe they haven't just bitten the bullet and cloned some Kayaba goodies by now.

It's the one thing most people have in common as a reason they're reluctant to move to KTMs.

I'm lucky I'm slow as balls and wouldn't even notice how much better kit suspension is.

Just picked up a 22 ex350. Took the suspension off right away and sent it to Factory Connection to convert it to the 6500 spring fork and revalve along with the bladder kit etc. to the shock. Itching to ride it now. It’s currently sitting on the bike stand and all I’m doing is cruising rockymountain buying parts I don’t really need since I can’t ride it yet. I had a 2012 350 so pretty pumped to ride the newer motor

Tasted the Kool aid and made the switch this weekend. 350 is an absolute rocket ship without ever feeling like it's ripping my shoulders out of socket. Averaged 3 seconds a lap faster though out the day.
Clean ass low hour 450 for sale btw

same happened to me … sold my 20.5 FE after committing to 10 hours on my 21 350, tried the 450 after and was dazed and confused how i ever rode it and put it up for sale the next day.

I pretty much did the exact same thing . Once you give the 350 a real chance , it shines . The suspension sucks though so it will cost some money

These GasGas's look badass... If Honda won't give us a red 350 then this is where I'm headed next.

Yep....i went from a 2019 KX450 to a 2022 KTM 350 with cone valve forks. I liked the bike at first but i need more power. The KTM is either stuggling while lugging or winding out compared to my KX450. I actually just bought another KX450 over the weekend....that bike has the best bump absorption and overall feel for myself being a vet rider.

don't get me wrong....i like the KTM but at this point in the season (riding 2 x/ week) i can handle the 450 and prefer the power.

I'm racing the Racer X Vet race at Sunset Ridge this weekend.....my KTM has a fresh tire and my new Kawi isn't ready so i'm going to race the KTM. That track is wide open and loamy with a long start.

THE 350 IS NOT THE GREATEST BIKE EVER MADE FOR EVERYONE. It does some things well but the tradeoff might not be worth it if you can be safe on the 450
