Can someone school me on the differences between the GG and Ktm xcf 350 models? I can’t find much info at all on the 2022 GG. I’m buying one today and I’m curious what has changed since my 2019 KTM 350xcf.
Does the GG allow you to alter the ecu through a cell phone app?

TIA

No cell phone app unless you buy the connectivity unit I think. GG has the ktm subframe and husky swingarm. Otherwise I think the chassis and motor will be very similar. Different pipe on the GG will alter delivery a bit (no resonance chamber)

No map switch either. So I think you are in map 1. You can buy the switch to get map 2 and TC

Well, I have decided to try the 350. I found a good used one with the KYB inserts already installed along with some other goodies. I normally buy new, but this was a good opportunity to see if I like the 350 and would lose little if any money if I resell it. If I like it like I think, I will probably get a new 23 next year. I rode one once at a KTM ride demo at Ironman in Indiana and it was a blast to ride, but I'm a bigger guy and worried how the racing would be on one. I'll hang on to my 450 for awhile to make sure, but the older I get it seems the harder those big boys are to hang on to!

I just placed a 2023 KTM SXF 350 on hold. I was told it would most likely be a June Delivery Date. (Midwest) Anyone heard anything confirmed, for dealer delivery?

Nice bro!
I got myself a new gasser 350 too. Great bikes.

Is that a BMP sticker on the fender? Bill's sells GG now?

Still happy with my 2018 FC350. 100 hours on the meter now and not a single issue. Perfect Vet bike imho.

I have the original a 2011. Just did a tear down with a powdercoat to spiffy it back up. This pic doesn't show it but I went a metallic in the powdercoat and it looks ridiculous in the sun. Still a great bike, I'll just keep it forever. I know the newer ones have more guts but it has plenty for me and the forks are better. It has been a solid bike all these years. I'd like a new one but it's not going to make me 10K worth of faster.

Really liking mine with the kyb conversion. No problem getting starts against 450’s.

The more I ride my 21 350 SXf the better I like it and feel it is the perfect bike for just about anyone other than a top level racer, so much so that I just sold my 20.5 FE 450 so I'm fully committed! I am quicker longer than on the 450 and the handling isn't as lethargic as the 450 was, confirmed by riding my 450 back to back to the 350. I was thinking about getting a 23 but why, as most have said its not going to make me any faster. I plan on putting a few new goodies on it. probably some P3 carbon pieces and maybe a XACT pro shock to go with my CVs on the front and just enjoy it!

Wonder what the 23 will bring to the table, I will either get a run out 22 or 23 when they come out. Love the 450 but it sounds like the 350 is a heap of fun which is what I'm all about these days.

I Agree, I'll probably pick one up in the future but think I'm gonna wait to hear how the 23's are.

Agreed
I’m going to keep my ‘19 until the ‘23’s are available. I am perfectly happy with the ‘19, but I’ll be ready for a new bike by the end of the year.

I thought the forks were compatible just not the shock?

It's a '22. The dealer said he is expecting '23's in the next month or so. He did say no changes just BNG.

Hey, Yes I bought her from Bill's in Salem. He is actually the top (for units sold) Gas Gas dealer in the US believe it or not. How's it going Brandon? Are you still up in Idaho?

Bill and the gang are the best in the biz, so that doesn't surprise me. Tell him and Bryan and I said hello next time you go see them.

Yep... I'm still here til the kid graduates then hopefully off to Montana. Shopping for land as we speak. Come out for a visit....no shortage of good trail riding around here.

Im heading the same way. Had 350s since they first came out till i bought a 2019.5 450 KTM FE. The 450 is good but iv found i just cant race it well. Im a rever & just cant get the same aggression & race intensity on the 450. Really missing my 350! I think i’ll get a GG 350 next opportunity & get some performance work done to it. Then maybe use the 450 for winter practice to keep hours down on 350.

Put a 2 stroke filter cage, drilled holes in side panel and an Akro muffler on my 350. Will be testing tomorrow, hopefully it will add a little more throttle response.

It fixes the problem for sure. Only issue I had when I made the change to the side panel and the 2 stroke cage is it would flame out because it idled lower so I had to bump up the idle a bit. Like on track out of a fast section into a tight 180 then hard back on the gas it would stall. Hasn’t done it a single time since.

Its funny you mention keep the hours down on the 350. I had my 20.5 450 for about 22 months and sold it with 47 hours, I have 18 hours already on the 350 already after 4 months and I keep thinking it has to be wrong, I still ride roughly the same amount of days but i am riding more each time I do ride! I actually have to bring a fuel jug with me to the track now other wise Ill run out!
