In the early 2000’s, there was a guy that raced A class in central Florida, named Dough Boy. I say he was easily pushing 300. But he was fast as hell

There was a dude from New York state I believe, that raced the Canadian Nationals a few year back that was for sure plus size.

Its definitely relative to your sample group! Comparing the thicker version of RC to us normal folk is for sure a different perspective.

Send your tech 10’s to factorysole. They put sidi soles on them for 120 I think? Problem solved

I was a top 5 local B rider in the early 2000's. And I was 6'4 250 pounds. Drew a crowd everytime I rode anywhere. Made me feel good and like shit at the same time. Like are they thinking I'm good, or thinking he's good for a fat guy. Funny part is, I lost weight down to 205 pounds and was actually slower lap times wise. I have never understood that to this day.

A lot of 450 riders r chubs . Some of these extra tall or fat boys get a little extra physical. Like trying to slam ya ove a berm then cross jump ya ovr the Aztalan plateau. I thought about it, but I just bought SIDI's instead and moved on. The Tech 10 soles should last longer for $600 boots.

"Factory Heiny" Mike Heingartner is the guy that comes to mind. He has already responded on this thread. I met mike at an arenacross in Hoffman Estates, IL (i believe it was one of the Mike Kidd branded races....). Funny as hell. They had a jump competition and Mike comes out wearing nothing but his underwear and hits the catapult jump....i don't even know if he did a trick or not. The crowd loved it! He's a great racer as well and i'm sure he surprises everyone that doesn't know him.
