I like the white, but the blue and black looks like a giant bruise!

Seriously, I think you guys are going to regret hating this after a while.

When I first saw the Nissan Titan, I hated it. A year later, I bought one.

I don't like the looks of this bike but you're right, you hear the same thing from car designers all the time. I had a similar experience when Ford came out with their new heavy duty front-end face lift... looked really ugly at the detroit auto show, but then I warmed up to it and thought it looked downright awesome after a while. Then my dad bought an F450 and I instantly became a fan.

Personally, I think a lot of the bikes were turning into slight variations of the same thing. I do tend to like seeing things change up and progress.

One thing that's hard to see in the photos is that there's some texture on the airbox to provide extra traction. I'll also upload a photo in a few minutes to show it off with some One ID preprints.

If I was looking for a 250f, that's the one I would buy.

I've never seen any bike win a race sittin' on a stand.

With that being said, it's all on how it works on the track, if it's better than all the rest it will sell like "hotcakes", if it's a turd..........it's big rebate time.

And do you remember all those purple bikes and purple gear in the early 90's?

I'm surprised at the responses. I think it's the best looking bike to come out in a long time. Cosmetically, I thought all the YZs that came after the '96-'01 generation were very boring and a step backward. You know the performance and reliability will be top notch. It's too bad I'm not in the market for a new bike. I'd love to bring that white one home.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I think it looks great, and I don't say that about bikes very often.

Like OW said. If it gets good reviews and it goes fast, it would still sell if it had hot pink plastic with pictures of turds on it.

You have a point, but that Titan is still ugly though...

Agreed, 95% of the new designs I've hated the last few years I've ended up loving. The 5% includes the Mazda RX8, I had several RX7s, the RX8 is just fugly. However, I like the new bodywork, don't know if I will in 6 months. But WTF is up with that pipe? Last generation YZFs shared the same tank, 2010 has a 250 only tank. Looking like those drawings of the 450 were pretty accurate.

I usually liked the White versions of the lastest generation YZF's better than the blue.
I actually think the Blue version looks better this time around though. It's usually hard to get a feel for the body work until you get to see it in person though.

I second that. And I actually think that's the best looking "white" themed bike I've seen in a while.

I still cannot grasp however, why guys are buying so much white plastic these days. Isn't that a PITA to get red clay out of without staining?

I saw that in the photo's not sure what to make of it yet.....maybe no more grip tape there? I bet it wears off pretty fast and wouldn't the added traction minimize the surface area for contact of airbox decals?

First imoression was it is butt ugly but it's already starting to grow on me, Spoke to a buddy that rode the 450 and he said it's bad ass! I'd expecy the 450 to look very similar
