DC said on Pulp recently he’s currently trying to work a deal with GH/Bud Feldcamp to hold the last National there. So cool if it happened, but I’m not holding my breath.

While we’re on the topic of tracks, how the hell does the south east not have a national? Florida,Alabama,sc,TN. Muddy creek provided some fairly good racing and great viewing for spectators. Plenty of facilities in SC that could be used..

Red Bud is not flat, what are you talking about. It’s not dramatic like Glen Helen but it is also it like the track they raced at in Utah either. It’s built on a hillside FFS.

Seriously see what it takes and how much it costs to even get a national and thats even if your local branch of goverment if its city, county, state or even federal will let you and then it has to be able to have enough room for the pits and parking and food and restrooms and enough access to get in and out of and it has to be close enough to a larger population city to draw enough spectators to make a profit and thats if the weather cooperates. If you are a promotor you are better off going Las Vegas with your bag of money and gamble, the odds are better Blush
