Has he made the move permanent or just wildcard race?

Thought he had good ride. Qualy 13th, 13th overall, beating some established names.

For sure, watched him all race. Kept waiting for the drop that never came. Very impressive.

The team is planning to race as many rounds as they can when there isn’t a British championship round.
So far it’s the first 3 rounds but It seems like more rounds in the future.

Yeah that’s the plan. Who knows, maybe after this weekend they just decide to stay.

That would be great! I think all the guys would progress over the rounds!
Are SC importing motorhomes in the US? They are building sick sprinters and they could sell them a fortune here!

Had a great ride I think he’s capable of more too. He ate too much in between motos not realising how short the break was and struggled with stomach cramp the whole second moto. I think 2nd motos is where he should shine in the future with the track being rougher.

Ran 6th in Moto 2 for a few laps..

He is worth every penny Husqvarna are paying McElrath.

So if Tommy Searle decided to have a go for old times sake, top 10 maybe? Solid starts and held in there well, well done Gilbert.

McElrath is coming off an injury and ran at the pointy end of the field. Did Gilbert?

Did Gilbert have a factory bike?

How much time has he spent at Pala compared to Shane?

He didn’t have a factory bike and it was a great ride. I just don’t understand the point in dogging one rider to prop another up.

He ran 6th in Moto2 for a couple of laps. Then got stomach cramps cos he ate too much, didnt realise there was no gap between the Moto's ( there is and hour between the end of 1st Moto 's and the start of 2nd Moto's in GP's )

And the statement was a hark back to the days of Weston Peick, when as a privateer , he made Barcia look ordinary when Barcia was at JGR.

I used the same line then.

I am pleased McElrath picked up a ride, he is too good to be on the sidelines.

What place has Gilbert been getting in the British championship races this year ? I know Tommy has been on a good run winning every race this year so far . Be cool see how he would do here

Tommy has not won every race this year. Gilbert/searle/kullas have all been swapping top three all season.

Searle has won every overall in the British Revo Chanpionship.

There is another British series that runs alongside called mx nationals and Gilbert’s had a lot of success in that, I think tommys given up on it after a really bad round at fat cats and is just concentrating on the main one now
