I'm sorry a state of confusion comes over you when you look down while naked.

Good to see him getting back into the sport. I've been enjoying his podcast.

Ten teams of two riders will take part, with men and women racing together in total gender parity. They will compete in a series of global events spanning an iconic mix of inner city and natural outdoor locations.

Aiming to harness the growing appetite for the electrification of motorsport, E-Xplorer will act as a test bed for two-wheel technology, as well as appealing to the next generation of climate-conscious fans.

I'm a sucker for a cute chick in moto gear but this E- Moto discipline feels like a weird roller blade / Urban MTB downhill mash up.
I guess time will tell

Seems like they put all available eDirtbikes (I also saw a Yamaha Europe project bike in that clip) behind one gate in various (urban / dirt) places. I'm a bit sceptical about this format but Eric Peronnard is not messing around so we will see.
If "gender parity" triggers some of you, wait until Sophia Incutto (she's the girl in the clip) passes you. She is fast! 😋

If anybody ever has had mixed views of trials bikes, this is not for you Laughing

I don't know what to think of this, or who the target audience is.

This looks extremely lame. I’m surprised JS has invested into this.

Not so sure? At the moment, it doesn't look interesting, or something I'll like. I agree with others, not sure who the target audience is for this?
With time being so valuable, I don't think following this will merit my time.

Once electric takes over, I'm done with the sport. 4 strokes suck but at least there was noise. The writing was on the wall in 99 with Yamaha/Doug Henry/ and the 426 4 stroke was evident of what was to come. Amateur races that used to be filled with 40 riders a gate. Gone. Lucky to see 10 riders a gate. How can we kill the sport more? The fans adapted to the 4 stroke sounds and costs. What if we just give them whiney electric bikes. I love you motocross and will have fond memories of the days of when it was a man's sport.

Seems like FIM is trying really hard to grab what they can since the divorce from Feld.

When I first met my GF, she had a fox body mustangGT with a, "You just got passed by a girl" window sticker.

Knew right then that she could be "the one".

I completely agree.

But as a caveat for me: I'll probably buy one of these e-bikes only because I'd love the no maintenance portion and I could zip around the woods near my house. Beyond that, the SPORT of competitive racing these damn things will be dead to me. I know the stars of our sport will transition to them when the OEMs force them to ride them, and there will still be battles and some good racing....but my passion for it will be dead. I cannot for the life of me get excited about the notion of watching ET3 battle KR94 on bikes that whine around a track in silence. I just can't make that leap.

I remember back at the old, four corners, racetrack in Ramona, there was a rider's meeting where the girl's wanted that name changed.
And that was back in the mid 70's.

Yeah, I think it was pretty much gone by the 80's around here except for maybe flat track.
They seemed to embrace it a little longer.

that's funny. i watched a POWDER PUFF football game last night at the local high school here in Texas and thought to myself "I'm surprised they still let 'em call this Powder Puff".

Current times are stupid times.

OH,HELL! Now I'm REALLY TRIGGERED! I'm going out to the garage and making my protest signs! Grinning

Psssst...they could have had some fun with this and said,"Pair-ity" as they explained that EACH TEAM WILL HAVE 1 WOMAN AND 1 MAN...but, no...the new world language took hold and people are gonna "take a side". Whistling

Myself? While I -AM- tired of all the PC language and all the "we're so aware" b.s. going on around us...yes...it's just exhausting and I often sound like Phil G outta Great Britain and say,"I really don't give a F!"

But...

I like this.

People racing around and moto-ing on anything with 2 wheels is always good with me.

Oh, and a Shout Out to James and Seven for getting in on it. I suspect TLD is taking a good look at this, too.
