You should of said the first MX bike that's not a Connondale to have EFI.

Or maybe "Suzuki where the second MX bike manufacturer to have EFI on a production bike"
Don't get in the way of a libnut and 'his' truth. You might mess around and trigger his inner butch.

How do you explain the ATK604 EFI made in 1992? It was a production bike, the first one with EFI.
Well, I could take a page out of your book and say something like, you proved my point, Suzuki clearly wasn't the first motocross bike with fuel injection.... But I can't do it. I was wrong. Cannondale was not the first fuel injected mx bike. I stand corrected by my betters.

#9 looks great on a Zook as Hot Sauce demonstrates below. AC should join the list of the greats who rode yellow...

A stock zook 450 is like 250 pounds dry. My FC450 is like 223 lbs. that’s a big gap to close. How do they do it?

Obviously the engine can be made competitive. We know the suspension can be made competitive. We also know an RM is probably still the best cornering bike of all time.

So we we can work with all of that, but how in the fuck do they shave off enough weight? What does an HEP bike weigh on race night? How light has any RM army fellas here gotten your bike? And how? That’s the shit that interests me.

No. The RMZ is 247 lbs WET, or all of 2 lbs heavier than the bike that just clinched the SX Championship.

Pirelli tires, Renthal fb36 bars, akrapovic ti exhaust, ti axles, ti bolt kit, probably 10lbs already right there.

Not even trying to be creative or throw real resources at it.

I remember watching him at the gatorback national that year as a kid. He got 2nd I think, but dude was hauling the mail on a bike people said as garbage. For anyone who doubts his outdoor speed, it was legit.

I’d reckon there’s a greater variance in the weight of the riders than there is in their bikes.

I’m glad I could educate you Randy, your welcome. Instead of trying to be a smart ass, stick to what your familiar with, which is being a dumbass. Why do you feel the need to correct people on a subject you know nothing about. Suzuki was the first Jap bike with EFI, Fact. ATK was the first period.

A Ti FMF pipe shaves off over 3 pounds compared to the stocker.

I was talking about the Shift jersey. I can't hate on MC even though he had nipple rings. He's

If I went to the dealer today to get a new bike, a Suzuki would be at the very bottom of the list, however I do think they are an objectively GREAT looking bike.

And that’s just the muffler part of the exhaust. That stocker has to be the heaviest muffler ever made by a long way.

Back to the HEP thing…would HEP have an easier time signing big name dudes if they clipped 722? I feel like they have that “privateer” vibe with Adam on the team

I’d take a Suzuki over a Honda- the red brand simply does not flick my switch.. anything but a Honda for me.

Bike- that engines plenty fast enough (powers not an issue in the 450s) and it seems to put the power down nicely. On starts the yellow bikes are regularly near the front with the factory bikes. Granted it may be a bit heavier, but it’s still one of the best handling bikes.
Team- it seems the main reasons for his success at Star is more freedom and working with his favourite suspension guy. I don’t see HEP being as stubborn as factory Kawi or Yamaha.

So in short, I believe Tomac would still be competitive and capable of winning on the Suzuki. So why would AC’s results be any different? The simple fact is, despite what some would have you believe, the old yellow bike’s still not far off the mark.
It’s Vital man! Just yesterday the “blue pig” was the curse of all racers….

Hands down Tomac or AC would do well if it was set up how they like ;ie Star racing.

And buying the full fmf system also knocks off 3lbs on the ktm and husky, because that steel resonance chamber header is very heavy, whereas the suzuki header (at least the ones on both my rmz450s) was titanium.
But you already knew that, since you've owned both bikes and can be completely objective, right?

Ps. That full fmf system was a total waste of $1100 on the husky, but the aluminum fmf 4.1 slip on worked well on rhe rmz.

Why do you say that at the system being a total waste? No usable performance difference?
