856 impressive # how was the weather? I bet it was better than Wi. 47 windy with drizzle it’s horrible here. I had long johns on with 2 jackets and a winter hat Sunday . Wanted to work on the bikes but just did inventory on what parts I hv. Near the bay it,s super damp but I did fire up the 04 and 05. Ltm is in a good location 129 mi from St. Louis and Indiana is close, easy driving in that area also being flat. I watched a yt vid of a 04 cr125 who got 2nd, the track looks fun and not dangerous. In Wi. Ltm is know as a track that will hv racing in April and not freeze your butt off.

I grew up riding at Lincoln Trail, but it's been 16 years since I was there last. I always said that they could make a killer track on the East side of the facility and it looks like they finally have. I'm dying to take a moto trip back to the Midwest between riding there, the track a friend opened (Big River MX in Crawford County, Illinois), and Ironman.
Awesome to see a local track doing well. Rode there for the first time in 06 and immediately loved it, and loved the Bomber track the first time I rode it as well.
As a west coast guy who spent 2 years in Illinois, I would say you guys have great turnouts, solid competition, and tracks that the rest of the country should envy. Maybe it’s the shorter season…but people definitely show up.
Motocross is strong in Illinois, both in terms of rider counts & track availability.
If it wasn't for the shitty weather 6 months out of the year, corrupt State government, and death by taxation, it would be a decent place to live for any moto rider lol
