It's in the Vortex installation sheet and on their website I think.
I met with Chad's programmer at XPR when we first had these done last year, because we had a special map installed.
He specifically told me to establish the TPS end points when you change fuel trim or map selection switches, or change the idle level on the motorcycle.
So we always do it.
But now I’m curious where mine is at on my current bikes.
Hold down stop button then crack start button. Then open throttle wide open, hold down stop and press start.
Calibrates tps.
Ps, your sx didn't have tps, but it is a lot faster now I've chucked the lectron 😉
Luv ya bud!

Map 2 on the handlebars is whichever map on the X10 that I choose.
Map 3 on the handlebars is the “test” map (X10 position 3). It’s a different ignition curve to test with. That map, when on, overrides the other two maps.
Jamie Ellis/Twisted Development mapped it. He explained this stuff to me via email. I had to go back and look because I forgot everything. lol.
Calibrating the TPS is still new to me, but I’m going out to the garage right now to “calibrate” mine.
Interested if it changes anything or if mine is in calibrated now.
* A buddy of mine just swapped his Lectron out with the new BILLETRON version and it really woke up the bottom end and had a nice crispness to it.
I still liked the Lectron over that stock carb, but it did rob a little bottom.
So he re purposed the TC to access a third map, very interesting!
Thank you for the info.
* EDIT-
I just saw Brent’s post about the same thing. Curious to know details
I appreciate you sharing that, I obviously didn’t pay enough attention when I’ve had mine mapped.
I’m fairly certain what I ended up doing was setting Map 2 as the weakest map (position 9). I’ll start my moto in Map 1, and switch it to Map 2 once the moto starts to settle a bit and I don’t need the power.
Glad I ran across this thread!
I have to admit, when I saw "Calibrate the TPS..." on the Twisted Development map spec sheets, I immediately envisioned (and dreaded) getting my multimeter out and messing with some physical settings on the throttle body while resetting the TPS, so I said "NOPE - NOT TODAY - GO RIDE & SEE WHAT HAPPENS!" ... and my bikes ran really well, so I forgot about the calibration step altogether.
My fears were totally overblown. Totally.
Here is XPR's simple video on this important process:

Too easy to ignore!
Do you guys know if this is the same deal for Kawasaki black, green, white couplers?
Does that affect the way in which I would 'tune' the vortex ?
Currently have the white coupler in,vortex set on 5,5,5 1 and I just won't start...and when it does,it's all over the place.
When I rev it,the rev 'carry's' on longer?
Where do I go? Lean it out?
I think the vortex eliminates the couplers. Does your bike start and run fine with the stock ecu? Then plug in the vortex and this happens? Are you setting the TPS parameters? go back a few pages in this post and there are links to videos of the procedure. That kind of sounds like you may have something else going on... make sure your clamps on the throttle body are tight. make sure you have proper free play in throttle cables. You'll likely have to adjust the idle with your vortex... i think the kawi is stilll all adjusted through the choke knob... If you're still stuck, check your throttle body, make sure the cables are oriented correctly, make sure the wheel stop bolt/nut are tight and not holding the wheel/butterfly open slightly...
Pit Row
Cooy that.i actually made it tighter to help it start but had it all on 7 and it was starting good...but i dont know if thats what I should be doing.
Admittedly haven't run through all maps on 555 as im only interested in 1...
6,7 are listen rhe same but is there a difference?...
Loosing it with this thing
