For me personally that is exactly part of the problem. It’s reached the point where just about everything is “only $X.00per month…..”. It adds up.

Okay…..time for the dumb question of the day. If I’m reading all of this correctly the only way to view the Nationals is to pay? There is no way free to see them? 🤔

I know its just the area I live in but Streaming sucks here. I will not be paying for constant buffering. Back to reading about the races.

Either pay to watch it via their streaming service online or pay your local cable provider to watch it on TV.

There's NEVER been a full season of mx or sx on free broadcast tv. How much is your cable/satellite/streaming tv package per month?

Starting to feel like we have to assume from the silence that there will be commercials. It blows my mind that in 2022, after years of commercial-free streaming, we're facing the possibility of missing live action in favor of commercials on a paid streaming service. Ridiculous.

I am not interested in paying for a stream of a TV broadcast that has commercials during the racing. I already know how frustrated I will be, so I'll wait and not pay until we know for sure there aren't commercials. Sounds like we will find out during moto 1 on 5/28.

I also signed up yesterday. I was watching some Midwest dirt track racing replays and I’m an hour into it and so far no commercials.

I wanted to watch a live race to see how well it streamed and how quickly they put the replay up but unfortunately we have a lot of rain and both races got canceled.

I’m hoping for better weather next weekend for my test.

I just don't understand why they would do that. Whatever amount you have to charge to not have commercials, I'll pay it. I might be pissed, but I'll still pay it. If there are commercials during the moto that I have to pay to see, I'll just find it on YouTube or wherever.

3 possibilities:

1). There will be commercials and they are trying to get as many signups as possible before springing it on us.
2). There has been no decision yet.
3). No commercials and it’s no big thing since it’s been like this for a long time… so why even respond or include it in the announcement.

If it was 2 or 3 I would think that DC would have chimed in so I’m leaning towards 1.

Do I have subscribe to a streaming service as well as Mavtv?

Ok, I am a little confused on the whole MAVTV Plus deal. I have MAVTV on my TV now and it’s all in HD. Normal channel with commercials…

If I’m reading into this correctly, are we saying that the Nationals will not be broadcasted on the MAVTV channel, only on the MAVTV Plus app ? Or will it be broadcasted on regular MAVTV ?

I did a search on my streaming box and I can download the plus version, if need be. But after reading the comments, it’s not very promising.
They have a 2.3 ⭐️ rating and almost everyone is giving it a 1 ⭐️ rating with very angry reviews.

MAVTV plus is just their online streaming service. If you don’t have cable, you can sign up to that instead of watching it on TV. You don’t need both.

I initially thought about that aswell. But now we know Cairoli, Dungey and Kenny will line up and I would probably sell my future kids to see that. 😂

It's more the principle of paying them to downgrade the broadcast for me. If it was $50 a month and had good features/no commercials I wouldn't bat an eye.

The MX SX YouTube channel has the SX races soon after they're run.
Usually by Sunday morning.
I'd imagine the same would go for the outdoors.

I have a couple Sony smart TV’s that runs the Android TV operating system and I still haven’t seen MAVTV Plus as an option to download from the Google Play Store & also have a Samsung Smart TV that runs the Tizen operating system and also don’t see MAVTV Plus as a downloadable app. Any idea if either of these will be available before the nationals start? I use some streaming boxes as well and most are Android TV based. All options when searching for MAVTV Plus only come up with the Lucas Oil Racing TV app. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Do we know it will have commercials? SX without commercials wasn't any better, they just had a still camera filming a dozer. It would be different if they actually used the time for something cool. Additional interviews or special features maybe.
