Covid and also, apparently they're supposed to start track building next month.

It was supposed to be the offspring from milestone mx.. but its been hard as fuck to get information about it... could be permit issues also.

Covid happened....

Looks like it's going to be awesome if they get it built. Hopefully it'll be immune from home development encroachment and noise complaints.

For reference...it took a full 5 years from the first drunken sketches of a track on a napkin, to opening at Lake Elsinore...Every government agency has a permitting process, some very lengthy.

Seems like quite a facility. Who is funding that? Hope they have got deep pockets.

My thoughts exactly. That is going to take some SERIOUS dollars to be built out as he described.

When I first clicked on this thread, the video was blank. I misunderstood the thread title to mean "what happened to vital?". Immediately, I thought back to the last time the man showed Big to the door and surmised that it went a long time with nobody to tell the newbs to EABOD. Things have certainly changed. It's good to see you back BL.

Pretty sure it's the ex-owner of Milestone and current owner of State Fair Mx.

Any updates on the future of JS63? Is it canceled?

Cancelled. Along with state fair when the lease is up. Which is also why Perris has a new owner. And it’s for the better. When everything is payed for by drug money it catches up to you. Hopefully someone buys this property and actually puts a track in but I highly doubt it.

Yes what a shame. I thought they were liquidating Perris and Statefair to fund JS63 but sounds quite the opposite. Dang! Was really looking forward to the place. Would have been so what close for me.

It’s a pretty wild story. The guy owned arma for awhile too when it was terrible energy drinks. Was pretty crazy when all the instagrams disappeared when he dropped off the face of the earth all of a sudden. It’s the reason why state fair has a new insta with comments turned off as well

Yes
Jeez, and this was just common knowledge in SoCal while these places were up and running?

Pops' and I ride 4-5 times a month at tracks all over SoCal - News to us. Certainly not common knowledge and am curious what the backstory is

Common Knowledge? No
Not sure who really knows all the facts. I have heard a few different rumors over the years, but it was mostly about Milestone at the time. I know absolutely nothing about it, Sounds like Clark may have some insight ?

It’s pretty common knowledge for anyone who’s been riding Perris since the sloans took it. I grew up racing with jasiaac. They were literally a family of drug dealers. Jasiaac was shot in a drug deal gone bad. Sure people like to say better left unsaid but it’s the truth. They weren’t dealing bags of weed it was big stuff.I worked for arma when it was the energy drink and it was literally a laundering operation. Nobody ever bought one of those cans and we could give out as much product as we wanted to anyone. If you’ve lived in the area and have been racing here forever you’d have to have heard something about it. They’re not the first family to operate a track out here on drug money or as a laundering front. The hiners, previous owners of Elsinore in the early/late 00’s got popped too. Really hoping someone will step in and take over state fair as well

This makes alot of sense... I've always just been a paying customer at these tracks but always wondered who run's some of these places and how.

Alot of people would say (Oh so and so is a big tycoon) but i never bought those stories because i'm a realist and always thought it never added up.

I always thought something was weird when Freethepeeps was posting on youtube years ago. Seemed like the guy never had a job but had fancy motor homes, mechanics for his son and all this money to race amateur nationals. I don't know them so its all speculation. I met Jaisaac once, seemed like a nice kid. It's super shitty they let Milestone be turned into a FedEx parking lot, that was my closest track. And Yeah like Clark said I would not expect state fair to be around much longer. I heard they're expanding the dam or something?
