I went round and round looking at Sprinters and finally just said "eff it"! and went for the Outlaw. I'm glad I did. We use the absolute crap out of this thing.

Probably isn’t much to some but a nice van like my vw T5 and an awning was the dream set up to me growing up. All we had was a wrecked work van and 19’year old camping chairs. Sad as it sounds I feel so factory with my awning and fold out table. Very grateful.

I love it when a guy pulls up with nothing but an old pickup and bike and smokes everyone.

Ive seen a guy do that but in a car, subframe, forks and swing arm on the back seat the rest in the boot/trunk. And yeah he smoked everyone Laughing

Also heard stories of Smets passing his truck test so he could throw his bike on the back of the team tractor unit and going off to different tracks

On the way to Farleigh Castle back in '18. The Brits are nothing if not creative in getting their gear around.

In the early 70's when I first started racing, I had some bumper racks and would cajole a buddy to drive me to a race with his old Buick and my Elsinore hanging off the back. Funnily enough, now that I'm in the +65 class, I've found dragging the 450 up into the box of a modern 3/4 ton is getting a bit dicey (these things are so high these days that I get nose bleeds and vertigo), so I got a cheap rack at the Harbor Freight scratch-and-dent sale, welded it up a bit (because Harbor Freight), and the circle of bike hauling life has nearly come back around.

I’d love a van. But this will do.

After riding out of pickups since I was 16, I had to upgrade to a 7x16 trailer to bring my bikes and all the kids’ bikes and gear. It will be nice having everything together instead of scrambling Saturday night.

My wife is arguably the cheapest woman I’ve ever met, but has always said if we found a trailer for the right price, we would get one for the family….

We’ve been out twice in the last month now, best thing we’ve ever bought…love being able to give memories that my mom and dad were able to give to me!

Here is my VW Crafter, I have owned it for about 6 years now, I can get the sidecar or 3 bikes in... we also use it for holidays (vacations) when the garage gets filled with pushbikes and surfboards... it’s great seeing different ideas on the same idea from around the world... stay safe people.
Does you water tank not have a hose bib? Will it work without one?
