It’s easy to come off as the “bully” or “OG” when the majority of your competitors wear skinny jeans and drink Starbucks more than a teenage girl with her mother’s credit card in her possession. Not to mention a lot of them are teenagers.

I think we should make the top 10 spots get trophies too while we’re at it.

Sitting here trying to figure out wtf happened to the world I used to live in.

How was a conversation bullying? This is tied with the Monster girl thread for the absolute dumbest thing I've read on here in a while, and that's saying something.

I like that Phil addressed it directly, whether or not you think Phil was at fault. Say it, park it, move on. Don’t let it eat you up into doing something stupid, don’t let the person you are mad at not know it.
Yep CC should’ve manned up like Phil

Wait, Phil threatened to kill a guy in front of some kids one time? That's hardcore, he just earned a fan.

You should let the protestors in Portland Oregon know. They frequently protest things that happened thousands of miles away, they'll help.

Bullying? Dude.
The dude doing that you are referring to “bullying” is a washed up plus 30 motocrosser that’s the size of a dwarf and plays the grumpy old guy. He’s about as scary as a gnat. Good grief. 😂

This thread really makes me wonder how many people have ever raced or played any type of competitive sport. Adrenaline is a helluva drug, once it wears off and you can think clearly, you realize you probably should've acted differently. "Oh no! Phil yelled at Forkner directly after a Supercross race!" Oh the horror! You guys need to suck it up and relax. This happens at any amatuer MX race, football, baseball, or soccer field all the time. Good god our country is getting soft.

Phil is one of my favorite people in the sport, just because of his dgaf interviews. If he's on Pulpmx I'm tuning in. He's a throwback to when people would say what was on their mind without a care in the world of what people thought.

I enjoy seeing passion in the sport. I have enjoyed and watched many times the videos of Ryno and LaPaglia along with Pike and Friese. When Phil approached Austin spewing fighting words, it would have been great to see Austin grab Phil by the throat and throw him to the ground while telling him "never talk to me like that again." However.... Austin with a factory contact had everything to lose, while Phil had nothing to lose. At work or at the track, fighting words need to be dealt with!

It there’s anything these last few years have shown us? It’s that all this crap can go off the rails. We’ve jumped the shark on “awareness”.

I don’t think it’s as extreme nor as unfriendly as you’re seeing it. Phil is a damn cool & dare I say “nice guy”. But, he has his limits when someone damn near lands on him.

And he has good reason: he’s been landed on fairly recently in his career.

Furthermore, Austin…regardless of what the gallery roun’h’yar thinks…actually respects his fellow competitors.

Everything Phil said was on point.
Everything Austin did was just…racing.
In both cases, they were a bit edgy.

I kinda like that.
