Finally had a little time to work on the new bike this weekend. I am still waiting on my rims from Dubya, my Vortex ecu from XPR and my graphics. But got everything else done. But dang do these things look nice. Can’t wait to take it out for its maiden voyage.

Yeah I went with the 20/21 torque specs until I purchase the shop manual. Pretty stupid that Honda didn’t even give us the torque specs..
Yeah can anyone find the torque specs for the shock and linkage?
shock upper lower 44nm linkage and swingarm same to 2018-21
Thanks for the reply but are you implying that the all the swingarm nuts on the ’18-’21 models are 44 Nm?

Yes, the top/bottom shock mounts are 44 Nm but I’m nearly positive that all the other connection points have different values.

I created these maintenance cheat sheets for my ’19 & ’20 and the numbers came directly from the (much more useful) owner’s manual. Can anyone confirm if the values below have changed for ’22?

Appreciate that!

Check that the steering stem nut is still 108 Nm, too, please.

Won’t be installing this for a bit, as I’m waiting on ENZO to send me my suspension. But I’m Anxious to get this out of the wrapper and install it. The “signature series” Ti system sure looks nice. Hope it fits as good as it looks!

Nice, you could at least install the header…

What spring rate did you go with?

Good point I may do that.

So I have them doing KYB kit air forks for it. Favorite forks I’ve ever rode so using them again. Kyb kit shock wasn’t readily available and I didn’t want to wait, so stock valved shock it is. As far as spring rate on the shock I don’t know to be honest. I leave that up to ENZO they have nailed everything for me over the years. Once I get it back I’ll let you know what spring rate they put on it.
Hey just remembered you wanted to know spring rate on my setup.

Forks (Enzo KYB a-kit psf1) balance spring rate - 3.4 newton
Shock (Enzo built stock shock) spring rate - stock spring 5.0 newton

If it helps I am 155lbs +30A.

Someone bought the service manual?

I installed my XPR vortex ecu, reset the TPS multiple time but I still get a blinking red light on the Killswitch

It blinks 8 times and according to a 2020 crf manual it is a TPS malfunction, could someone help me and confirm?

Also is the old procedure still good to reset the TPS? That's what I've been doing without success

To set tps with vortex is simple, Throttle closed hold kill switch & hit starter for 2 seconds repeat with throttle wide open .

After this you still get the 8 blinks? Will it start? Disconnect battery for a minute reconnect & try again.

If this fails reinstall stock ecu .Still get 8 blinks?

Yes I still get the 8 blinks after, but I'll try the battery and stock ecu tomorrow

8 Blinks while using a Vortex ECU set up for Honda CRF is most likely a disconnected Intake Air Temperature Sensor.
Fault codes are Vortex specific and not necessarily the same as how they are listed in the OE manuals.

Check your literature that came with the ECU in the box or contact XPR regarding the TPS set up.
It is possible the TPS end-point setting adjustment via the kill button is not enabled on yours.
Good Luck.

Thanks but everything from '18-'21 are gonna be identical to the values I posted above.

Interested in the changes, if any, to the '22 torque numbers.

For those that have had their suspension done, is it true that this bike is “harder to setup from track to track” as mentioned in all the shootout videos? I can see why the stock setting would have been tough, but after getting your hands on some suspension more tailored to you, I’d think it would be easier / little tweaks.

Hi. I called Pro Circuit about five weeks ago and asked why they had no products available for the 22 model. The gentleman I talked to said a slip on would be available the next day. They told me in a few weeks the full exhaust would be available. Good customer service, they actually called me back to tell me they were available. They said only approximately 100 were made and most were preordered. I still don’t no why they have no products listed for this bike even if they are possibly out of stock. You can call them if you are interested in the exhaust to see if some are still available. I originally pre purchased a HGS system but cancelled because that system is stainless steel, adds two plus pounds to the bike. I would like to keep this bike as light as I can. The TI-6 system is about a pound or two lighter than the stock.

Is anyone making triple clamps for our bikes yet? It’s hard to find anything at the moment. I have a Hinson Clutch cover on the way, but can’t find an exhaust.

I ordered a set of Xtrig clamps part # 40101016. They are on back order. The Luxon clamps look very good.
