I LOVE my Alpinestar boots... but some of the gear is a head scratcher. Hunter's gear last week and this week is by far the ugliest gear at the start gate....and they look like pajamas.

...and yes...I was thinking the same on Jason...

oh...and I like Hunter so not hating.....just the gear.

I didn't even notice the pit sweat. I just thought that the upper Alpinestars logo reminded me of this

Pretty certain that none of this gear will be sold so it's just all about eyeballs and attention and they're obviously getting plenty of both.. I don't know enough about marketing to know how that helps sell gear they do sell though

HOF. We need a thread that captures the gear design fails over the years. I'm having a brain fart right now- but there was a kit a couple years ago that inadvertently spelled something pornographic, right? Then there's the gear that was just horrid, like the TLD polka dot clown suit and the Cosmic Kitty stuff.

Just an observation, but we have two different threads, for 2 different riders, both pointing out that the Alpinestars designers need to lay off the drugs.

Some of the gear lately looks horrible and far to snug fitting too
Hunters was the worst if the season so far unless I missed something really ugly

Think of the other side of the coin: Sure, if you aren't stained, it may look like you are... but if you are actually prone to pit stains, this gear provides perfect cover!
