They’ve only won a few times in the last 10 yrs.. The Star team has the bike working well for SX.
Good to see another manufacturer get to the top step. If he gets on a roll the competition better watch out.,

Great night for the boys in blue. 1st and 4th in both mains.

Tomac’s starts are getting better, he looks good and he sounds pumped. He’s going to be in this to the end.

And if Fernandis ever gets a start, watch out.

Im happy for Yamaha. I almost got a YZ250X but got a deal on a 19 Husky TC250. Yamaha has a lot going. Not just DirtBikes. Grizzlys and R1s/R6s too. If I were to get a 4t it would be a YZ450FX

That was vintage Eli "feelin it". Impressive ride and W for Eli and Star Yamaha. I suspect this is the first of several this year.

They said 4 wins in ten years. I'd assume it was just barcia and stew when he was on jgr with two each?

Yep, think that is correct. 2 for Stew in 2012 and the 2 opening round wins for Barcia

What did he gate? Looked like it was ok and made a couple good quick passes to be in 4th/5th?

The people I saw on podium tonight are the people I’ve been wanting to see on the podium for a long time.

2 former 450 champs who are coming back for title contention, 1 up and coming who is establishing himself more refined.

All 3 seem to get shot down by people on here a lot.

Man, tonight was awesome. I’m really rooting for one of those 3 to earn that #1.

If they weren't all sold out, Yamaha might have sold some 2022s on Monday!

Great ride by Tomac, I was worried Sexton was going to have that next level speed and reel him in, but Tomac held his own. This is shaping up to be a great season and I think Tomac, Sexton, and Anderson are beginning to establish themselves as the leaders' of the pack with Fernandez, Barcia, and Roczen not far behind.

Not looking good for everyone else. He’s looked better and better each week. Already had the red plate before his win tonight.

The way he was cutting down in some corners was very similar to how the steel frame bikes(specifically Coop and Anderson) were turning last year. Impressive ride and it’s going to be a crazy ass season.

He shoulda switched to the blue pig years ago (but only with Star in charge)

He's looking deadly.

Yeah that’s what I thought too, when was the last time a blue rider in the premier class just looked like he could go wherever he wanted? He was cutting down, flicking the bike here or there. Pretty impressive change.

I remember him being crazy pumped when he won in Denver, but for a guy with as many wins as him it’s pretty rare.

When he latched onto the rear of Andrson he wasnt going to settle for anything less than a pass. Maybe it was the pass the 21 put on him the week before, i don't know, but he was sure racy at that point.

Tomac is riding smart and having fun which probably isn't good for the competition. I'm glad the move to yamaha is working out for him. Great season so far!

ET also likes his clutch. Swap interviewed him on press day. In the Heat could see him make an adjustment in the air when needed. He also
said he likes the power and asked for more. With his fav guy doing his suspension now. Maybe he will have that bike dialed in for his liking soon enough. Just needs consistent top five starts.

For how much he has won, he sure seemed happy. Perhaps he will be back to his biggest competition being his starts.

He looks fresh after the main too. Last year he looked tired. Probably a good thing for the competition a triple crown is next.

I think Fernandez really needs to fix his starts before he can run consistently up front with Andrewson, Tomas, or Barton
