@ML512 Obviously different circumstances given that it is happening across the pond, but with Monster and Yamaha seemingly aligning more and more with each other on high level racing efforts (MotoGP, MXGP, AMA SX and MX) having almost all of the same bike livery, does this cause concern for the American side of Kawasaki? Or do you think they are safe with Monster over here for years to come?

Great news for Kimi, too. Glad to have him in the sport and hope his team does well.

Should we be concerned that Moster is no longer the title sponsor here? Where did that money get moved too? What does this mean for Monster Kawi in the US?

If I’ve heard correctly, the US Kawasaki side may have already seen a reduction in budget from Monster Energy.

I think Mitch Payton/PC is safe, their relationship seems very solid and goes back farther than pretty much any program with Monster. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if in the near future you saw Monster just sponsor riders at Factory Kawasaki and not the team itself. Or maybe it continues on…but I don’t think it’s exactly set in stone for the future.

Those Just 1 helmets are damn ugly.
Yeah Fevre went from one of the best looking gear sets to the worst by far. Stuff is horrendous.

Guess team wanted same uniform for whole team. Just one seems worse than cheap stuff.

Prior KRT MXPG had a team gear deal as well, it was just A-Stars.

Unlike the US, pretty much every MXGP team has a team gear deal as they're all basically privately owned.

KRT MXGP - Just1/Gaerne

Wilvo Yamaha - Alpinestars (guys can do their own goggle deals)

Yamaha MX2 team - TLD

KTM MX2/MXGP - Alpinestars/Airoh (guys can do their own goggle deals)

Husky Nestaan MX2 - Fox/Bell/Scott

Husky Standung Construct MXGP - ?

DeCarli GASGAS - Thor/Airoh/Sidi

F&H Kawi - Leatt/Arai

Honda HRC and 114 - Fox

Did I miss the part where kawi announced a new logo? Or did they just quietly roll out out and nobody really noticed? It has jumped out at me watching SX this season too.

I think they introduced the logo before the racing season last year. It's a throwback to an old logo they used.

It changed late last year. Pretty cool meaning behind it.

That's got to be a big hit, no more Monster money and apparently no primary sponsor to replace them.

I bet they will have Harbor Freight tools in their pit cart.

Yes, he really needs the extra money!

Money can’t be in short supply or they would not have let Ivo walk away with his “rumoured” 300k

I quite like the new look, simplistic and fresh. Unpopular opinion but glad monster is no more on the green bikes, the sooner this sport can move away from the crap they are peddling to kids the better.

They just need to make the River symbol larger with some flo green colors. Then we will be back to the good ole days.

Interesting, Watson is on KYB and Febvre on Showa.

Interesting that it was reported in mainstream press here in Nz that Courtney Duncan has not signed a contract for this year yet , wonder if monster is pulling out of Dixon as well

Good! All Factory bikes should look similar to the OEM models in graphics in my opinion. Love to see a full factory machine but OEM style graphics like they used to be.

1000% agree on that.
Im a little bit tired of seeing all bikes cover with energy drink.
Yamaha doesnt look like a yamaha, pretty much all black bike...
I undertand that if monster put the money, they want good exposure but to me factory bikes were more beautiful in the past.
