That needs to be in a museum. Don't think I could stomach riding it in the mud.

Is it just me, or are the rear shocks way too long on that bike?

I remember back in '81 or '82 Honda had a bunch of leftover '79 CR250's that they blew out at around $700 each. Should'a bought a couple of them and stashed them away.

No kidding on where do you find that stuff, Joe, and you're a pretty good finder yourself. About that on price. Tough time to be selling, though.

Well, I did say "asking "price! LOL I agree, I am seeing a lot of nice stuff for sale lately. Some of it is priced pretty decent, others are just fishing in these tough times.

I saw that add yesterday. After I finished cleaning my computer screen I had the same thought. Where did he find all the parts. I had a complete LOP RM 125 back in 78 and I cry every time I think that it might be rusting out in some guys backyard. I think one of my favorite old time bikes is that CR.. It definitely belongs in a museum somewhere. But I'd have to find a more correct Silencer.

I have everything to do that bike and a bit more, and may actually make some progress some day, but NOS Forx, Shox and Swingarm? Sheesh.

That would look good in the Primm Collection.

In the interest of sour grapes, what, no NOS Fox FIM side plates? I say lose the DG stuff; it's not a performance upgrade over the stock pipe, and there's a Japanese company putting out some nice round ally silencers. Put on a Fox seat cover and Tank.

That seat is from the '80 model CR. Four of my old racing buddy's had those '79 CR's, and with Frias swingarms and 17.5 Fox Air's, none of them sat as high in the rear as that bike.

For an old guy like me, that bike is a thing of beauty . . . "They sure don't make them like they used to!"
