I'm in to season 4 now. Pretty killer show. I haven't watched this much TV all year lol..

I believe you're confusing Yellowjackets with Yellowstone.

Yellowjackets is in its 1st season and only 4 episodes have aired.

Yellowstone is currently in season 4.
Whoops. You're good.

I'm not much of a TV buff or binge watcher. You guys and this thread might have me looking up all kinds of shows once I'm caught up on Yellowstone tho. Lol

There's a lot of good shows that have been posted in these 36 pages over the years.

Start with page 1 or work your way back, and you'll be bound to find something that'll interest you.

I started watching The Witcher's new season and loved the game so much i didn't want it to end but i couldn't remember the series once this new season started. i was lost so we ended up going back and watching the end of the last season to vaguely jog our memory. It might not be that great if you didn't play the game.
Watching Dont look up as I type this.

Witcher 3 is firmly planted in my top 5 games, loved the first season of the show but like you said it's been a while so i don't remember much. will have to get a refresher before i start the new season.

Thanks for the heads up Mav, loved the Righteous Gemstones, so looking forward to this 2nd season.

Just been to see the new Spiderman movie with my daughter. I'm so over superhero movies. Devoid of any decent story line, Willem Defoe was the best thing in it. Bang, crash and fucking wallop for over 2 1/2hrs.

Do any of you guys think that the current era of good quality TV is surpassing cinema?

IMO, TV surpassed movies years ago.

I prefer TV because the actors can really get into their characters. That and if the show survives the first season, the writers can really get a storyline going since they don't have to rush through it.

There's a lot more shows that pique my interest than movies

Just finished up a 10 episode documentary series called “manhunt deadly games” on demand. It’s about the 1996 Atlanta summer games bomber. Pretty wild story and the series was done very well

I kind of agree with both … there was no subtlety to it … but it wasn’t far off the mark either . Good actors saved it imo .

Started watching Red Oaks on Amazon. Good show. Has a Caddyshack vibe without the slapstick. Easy show to enjoy.

We liked The Book of Boba fett. When i was a kid you could only get the Boba Fett action figure after you purchased 10 other action figures and sent in a cut out voucher on the wrapper and $10. I remember my mom picked me up after school and it had come in the mail. I some how lost it on the way home. I think i sat it on the seat shoulder and it must of flew out the window somehow because we searched every inch and it was gone. lol 1980s.

Kathleen Kennedy has sucked with Star Wars. Let’s hope she’s on her way out…though she did sign a new contract through 2024 so any Star Wars films she’s part of will suck.

It’s now in the hands of Jon Favreau who’s one of the best directors right now. The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett already have his fingerprints on it. And those are better then any Star Wars movie in the last ten years.

The documentary on body builder Ronnie Coleman was pretty interesting. It’s on Netflix.

I wasted a couple of hours on it the other night. Even that cast couldn't save it for me.

The Lovely Bones on Hulu was really good. It was actually released in 2009. I’d give it an A.

It’s a drama. Intense, sad, happy, and thought provoking,

Really well done movie.

Someone go watch this movie so we can talk about it!! I’ve watched it twice now!

Very poetic. I’ve heard the book is amazing.

Watched Looper this morning because my son recommended it. I lose interest as soon as any supernatural crap starts happening in an otherwise serious movie. I just cant get past it.

I don't expect many people to agree with my opinions on movies because I'm such a fucking snob about it but here is a short list of movies I have watched recently.

The go list:
Wind River
Law Abiding Citizen
Frozen Ground.

The no go list:
True Grit
Texas Rangers
We Were Soldiers.
Chaos.

The wish listL
Legend. No matter how I adjust the sound, I cant figure out what the hell they are saying. Maybe headphones.

Just got done watching the season finale of Dexter: New Blood and I don't know what to think. I'll leave it at that.

The season finale for Yellowjackets airs next Sunday. Tonight's episode and last weekend's episode were great. The finale looks like it's going to be another good one.

I don't know why I have not watched solo yet. My daughter says it's very good. I never was afraid of heights. I had a huge bridge we all jumped off of next to my house and in my teens we would (stupidly) climb these huge cranes racing to the top and hanging from them. These cranes were so big they had apartments in them. 20 years ago we used to actually bungee jump off of the parasail on a 1200 foot line. It all changed though at Grandfather mountain when i watched my wife and kid go to take a pic on a giant flat rock on a cliff and it was so slippery like ice and they almost fell off the cliff almost a mile high. It scared the hell out of me. My legs get a cold chill now near giant ledges but I would still bungee off the parasail today.
