MCM2 was amazing for its time, really loved the direction of the series at the time. Things like real licensed bikes without buying them separately, great graphics for the time, large open maps, focus on realism, decent physics for the time, no ATVs, no gimmicks. Hasn't been the same since they switched to MX vs ATV. I know they think they're broadening there potential audience, but really they're not satisfying anyone, better to focus on one thing and be good at it.

ATV offroad Fury and Offroad Fury2 started it all for me.

I was so loyal to that franchise until around the time of MX vs ATV: Alive came out. At one point I was consistently a top 400 in the world on certain tracks online 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

That was my first ever moto game and the reason my parents traded my N64 for a PlayStation.

Supercross Circuit
No specific order there.

Jet Moto was the shit. I almost forgot about that one. That might have been the first PS1 game I ever had.

Did anyone ever play a game called Motocross Mania? I had it on PC, and played it a bunch before switching to MCM2. Fun game at the time, but I don't hear about it much

As a kid my friend had a game on PS2 where you could play as Mike Brown on the Kawi and do the outdoors, but there was also stadium maps that had step up jumps like you'd see in the XGAMES events with the bar. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've never been able to figure out what it was.

From wikipedia: Brown is a playable character in the 2004 motocross video game MTX: Mototrax. As well as in the 2001 Motocross video game Mx Rider.

First one I played online was Motocross Madness, and I got to know Rob Reinard, the guy who designed the game. Became friends and I used to hang out at the studio one or two weekends a month and play with the dev's and test stuff including RonRon's tracks. I was the first person outside of the studio to try the quad physics for the first ATV game.

I tried to call Rob a couple weeks ago and his wife answered his cell....Covid. RIP DOBBO.

Yup, MCM2 was THE BEST at the time. The online community made it addictive fun. Too many nights racing till the sun came up then off to work hammered. I was (VET_SPODEBOY).

My top 2 are Mx vs atv reflex for just casual play and MX Bikes for a simulation feel. That game is super rad but holy hell frustrating at times.

Loved this game on pc as a kid, was such a fast paced racing game and graphics were great too. Excitebike 64 was awesome tracks and shortcuts. Nigel “the duke” York was my guy. Mx unleashed and vs atv are to this day the best moto video games ever made imo. Untamed was also great, mtx mototrax with Pastrana, Freekstyle with Metzger. So many different riders had their own video games out. Emig supercross 2000 with art eckman voice over “a little contact, that’s racing”. So many amazing memories gaming. Sadly have not played any new ones since reflex, stopped gaming end of 2012.
