Has anyone heard prices on these bikes yet? 450 or 250? I got a quote of $16,000 for the 250 Whistling
I saw 10.5 and 11.5 posted on here a couple times.

Retail is $10,600 on the ktm site for the 250. I am sure some dealers are going to try to jack up the price like they are on the kx450sr.

Ok yeah, I think the dealer(Power Motorsports) is high(on drugs) quoting, $16,000. I called another shop that has Huskys and he said $10,600 out the door. All good!

Do you think the existing WP shocks will fit?

Anyone know yet on wheel compatibly? I'm getting a set of new wheels for Christmas and would be a real bummer if they won't transfer to the next generation bikes. A few comments said front is the same but unsure about the rear.

The new bike has a 22mm rear axle so you will probably have to just get 22mm internals/spacers.

When will it be available at dealers? February? I already order mine but don’t even know the price…

Yes, I did see that the axle size is changing. I'm hoping as you said, that a set of spacers will make the rear wheel work. Or swapping axle blocks will allow the use of the previous generation axle. Fingers crossed, the wife is not going to be happy if I have to buy another rear wheel ha!

Media won't be riding them until late January at the earliest.

Thanks for the quick response!
What are you’re expectations? Pretty big changes on the chassis side!
What have you heard about the new 250 engine?

Hope so, just bought a shock for my 22. Even if it requires a shock shaft change to fit, nbd. Anyone know?

I'm guessing not or they'd be using current shock

So is the frame the same across 250, 350, 450?

What about the cases? Was that of the early rumors?

Same frame, same cases for 250 and 350. 250/350 cases have of course the same mounting points as the 450 cases.

Orange seat cover is too much, the Blue seat would have been better.

Any ideas when dealers will see them?
I thought for sure the digital tuner would be integrated(as opposed to the giant/ugly handlebar box) in the next generation bikes. So you're saying they've removed it altogether? I see they've also removed the slip-on Akropovic exhaust from the FE which is odd given the price hasn't decreased and competitors such as Kawasaki's new FE come with the full PC exhaust.

Thought the same but I’m sure it has something to do with supply chain issues. It’s been tough getting any sort of aftermarket pipes this last...

The factory editions that are a new generation never come with the Akropovich exhaust. On these years, you're paying to have the latest.
What?

Interesting... Any idea what the logic is? Are the aftermarket manufacturers not able to spec out a new exhaust system in time for launch or something?

As stated before, it probably is that on the first year you get and pay for a new model ahead of time, while in the following years they try to make it more appealing by adding some more "power parts" to it

Herlings bike looks much better with a blue seat cover. He has split design only in top triple clamp and the bottom one has traditional design.

The black frame made it look good. I think too much orange is, well, too much!

It would be cool to see some close ups of that bike and bottom triple clamp. It doesnt looks like something regular Joe could buy!

I saw mxa posted a video around plessingers bike yesterday and it looks like the factory guys aren’t using that front frame brace any more. I guess the new frame is stiff enough? I think the us guys were using that brace for at least the last two season.

Damn, those new KTMs are slick! Everything is so nicely integrated and neatly done. Can't wait to see the TBI-twostrokes in the new chassis.

Ping confirmed in his review that the older ones will not fit, the new shocks are 20mm shorter.
