Farewell Zacko…. You have nothing left to prove, and have had a wonderful career.
Enjoy your retirement.

Hard working racer who always brought great intensity to his sport. He was fun to watch.

Hope you stay around the sport and enjoy your retirement from competition.

Should we expect a press release from husky offroad about new rider soon? 🤔 😆

Pay attention folks. Zack just reminded us the correct way to retire with class and gratitude to those who supported him. It's not that difficult.

I wish....but something tells me if his back is that bad that it's probably not up to the abuse of off road racing either.

Perhaps the ultimate rags to riches story in our sports history. A never give up attitude, let’s hope he sticks around in one capacity or another.

I'm so bummed but at the same time so very happy for him. First saw him in Mini Warriors 3 as a kid and pulled for him ever since being he is a VA boy. He should be proud! Hell of a career.

He is one awesome dude. Zach is no stranger to pain and would probably enjoy what RV2 is doing in retirement. Riding for fun with the fam!!

I feel like he had some unfinished business, especially in supercross. Enjoy the next chapter ZO16.

Ac could have done the same thing against Zach to take the 450 outdoor title, but did not.... solid career... highly respected.... hope he sticks in the industry

Class act…Zach would be the perfect replacement, when its time, for Roger as MXDN team manager…he single handedly upped the level of commitment of the team in 2019 and has Euro connections for all things the team needs overseas.

Ah man!! Severely bummed out for him. (initial reaction)

He is a class act and had an amazing career. Quality person and family man. I hope the best for him in the future!

Why do people seem to think Roger is the problem when we can't get the top American riders to commit to MXON? It all starts there.

I watched Zach from as far back as his 80 days racing the Mega Series on KTMs. I enjoyed watching his career progress and wish him all the success he deserves in retirement.

He signed a jersey and threw it to me when I was standing outside their truck in about 2016 without me even asking for it. Great rider. Enjoy retirement.

Don't want to derail the thread, but some of our top riders aren't allowed to go because Decoster is the Team Manager.

It's been discussed here over and over, I'm sure you can do some searching and find out what everyone thinks about both sides of the argument.

I wonder if Husky will fill that seat or just roll with Deano and Mookie for 2022. At this point all of the top 15 are signed for 2022. I would love to see Schock or someone like that get a shot, not sure that will ever happen though.

Shame he never got a real shot at defending the number 1 450 outdoor plate but a great career nonetheless. To become as successful as he did later on in his career was amazing to watch, hopefully he’ll enjoy family life and head back to the track on his own terms in the future.

People always say 'I wish a top tier rider from the USA would go ride GP's in their prime'.. ZachO did it... and came to the U.K. for a few years and was such a pleasure to have him here... one of the coolest guys in the sport that's for sure and I hope he sticks around... congrats ZachO enjoy it

I don’t think Roger is the problem and specifically said “when its time” comprehension would help….
