Further down the grid, Tom Koch with a career best in 8th?
Yeah it appears Yamaha has found something. Can't remember when Seewer & Coldenhoff were both up there speed wise. Good to see.

What a battle, wow, that outside of berm Herlings was using almost every lap was quicker for sure, and 2nd to 5th all share same points, when the last time that happened? Good to see Hoff back up in front.

Seewer been "sick" all year.. he had something like Epstein-Barr or so?

Brian Hsu seems to be rich millionaire who gets bored at home and comes back to race.. one race with new team and then vacation until next time.

They finally found Boisrame and got him to race that Factory Kawasaki. Both races top10 for 6th overall is pretty good in your CV for next year.

Prado did run only couple laps in practice and was riding without any agression whole day. He was sick or something even before crashing?

Jeez Tim looks gutted on podium, Herlings sent a out a huge message on a hard pack track of all places, the points he gained todo is nothing compared to the confidence done to his rivals.
Great entertainment today

Yeah that’s about time right? Star has massive succes this year while the MXGP squad is definitely lacking. I don’t know how much they share, but this a step in the right direction

With regard to your last comment, Ashton Dickinson gave up EMX250 and went to MX2 exactly for that reason. He struggled with the outright flying lap for qualifying and fancied his chances more in the qualifying races, but they then went to the 1 day format. At least he was automatically entered into the race even if he did have qualify for gate pick.

Julian vd auware does the same. He races all/most mx2 gps and is way off pace. He was 30th in qualyfing in spain and 7 seconds of 29th place. I would think he wouldnot qualify in emx250
Who is that guy? I’ve never heard of him. Has daddy got deep pockets?
Yes. That's litterally a disgrace. 5 seconds or more off pace every single GP. Be true to yourself.

Small fun fact: If Herlings wins the remaining four GP's this season, he would actually tie Stefan Everts (101 wins).

Did not predict Tom Koch getting 8th overall on his Kosak KTM, big ride from him today

The big launcher triple thing towards the end of the lap before the sidi jump broke Miro Sihvonen’s rear wheel in BOTH motos today. And apparently he wasn’t the only one breaking wheels on the same jump, so expect to see it being tamed down for the next race.

This year, yes.
But he still has to win another title before he matches Tim's number

I am wondering if somebody has the race stats between Herlings and Gajser. How many GP's they compete against each other and the results... I Think you be surprised how big the difference is in Herlings favor. I know Tim has 3 mxgp titles but Herlings was injured in those years. And in 2018 Tim was injured and not fit the whole season.

Despite Gajser having 3 MXGP titles to Herlings' 1, Herlings has 8 more MXGP overall GP wins than Gajser. If that doesn't tell you who is the better rider what does?

Faster rider? Herlings.

Better racer? Undoubtedly Gajser.

So Tomac is a better SX rider than Dungey was? Yeah idk

In my mind only premier class titles count. Herlings will probably have more than Gajser at the end of his career and he's
undoubtedly the better rider this season, but still at the moment it stands 3:1 in favor of Tim and he is 2 years younger and turned pro 3 years later than Herlings

Neither, as my post said better rider but I suppose it all depends on your interpretation of what that means.

For me, in any given race where they're both on the start line I would put my money on Herlings over Gajser as the stats clearly give the odds to Herlings.
