I used to race the Evo-Vintage races here in Texas.

Joe was one of the Experts & rode the living crap out of his Honda Elsinore.

Helped Joe when I found a few Cr 125s

Worked on Maico 250 motor for him. I truly miss him.

I would be honored to run one of the stickers on my helmet.

Just shot you a PM back, he put some money on the line one year with the EVO series to get more 125 class involvement think at the height of it there would be 10-15 guys lined up on 74-77 125’s, dude was nuts rode 3-4 classes that year, vintage 125, vintage 250, GP 250 and modern 250. Think he ended up first in all but the modern class, he took the money and gave it to the guy who finished behind him in the 125 class.

I have three. The garage queen is the one Newman gave me the silencer for. The one on the tack was waiting on shocks and better handlebars , but it’s ready now. I do all my on work except for gas tank dent removal.

Just finished loading up the motorhome to spend the weekend at the races. Newmann will be ripping the 7-9 class this weekend in Nor-Cal!
