Ben Watson not coming back

So in mxvice new article Ben said the team told him he wasn't coming back. Are they going to get another rider or go to just 2 guys?
And what's gonna happen to Ben?

To be honest I think that is quick, but he seems to think he's a 450 rider (Renaux). For Ben Watson I would try to find a nice place in Europe or State side (yes he can ride supercross). Once he came totally unprepared to the Lille (Bercy) Supercross and was so damn fast, but he crashed a bit too much, we laughed about it while his chine was gashed open. Damn those times!

He's got a good shot at finishing in the top 10 in his rookie season which ain't bad while his team mates haven't exactly set the world alight. I hope he lands a decent ride but I guess we'll have to keep tuned in to Gate Drop to find out...

They gonna move Renaux up to MXGP.
To be honest I don’t understand the rush, let him defend the title and battle for wins. In the MXGP class he is just another top 10 dude.

Bummer for Ben, but I think he is decent enough to land a solid ride somewhere.

Bummer for him. But he needs to live on hard packed tracks in the winter, those has been his big downfall this season. You can't barely score points on a factory bike on certain tracks, you just can't.

But i'm sure he will land a decent ride for next year, Gebben Yamaha?

In an interview just up, Ben seems somewhat pissed off at Gatedrop. with their putting forward that he's signed to Kawasaki.

Saying because they are putting that out, when it's Not the case , it's got other potential teams thinking he's not available, so, not approaching him.

Watching him get passed outside of the points is a bit rough for a factory bike. His gap between sand and hard pack has to be about the biggest in the paddock.

If he wins the championship, he won't. Done deal. Ben W has an offer to go Gebben but he's not pumped on it because he wants factory equipment, which Yamaha does not agree with.

Yes he says his style suit him more on a 450 so he kind of want to be a 450 rider, it seems it comes from him not the team, he also said he want to be a top 450 rider in near future

I think Ben has had a perfectly fine rookie season, he was Top 10 in points up until this weekend, shown some good flashes, including winning the MXGP class overall at MXdN. When you consider the amount of factory rides in the MXGP class, I certainly think he’s worthy of one of those, but I think at the minute he is a victim of circumstance. I think he is one of the riders that has been effected most by the one day format. He’s never been the greatest at getting one flying lap in in timed practice, and when that directly decides the gate pick for the moto’s, he’s giving himself a lot of work to do each week. He’s one of the best starters on the gate, I strongly believe that with the traditional 2 day format you would see a big leap from Ben.

Also Seewer and Coldenhoff have had difficult seasons compared to what they would’ve expected pre-season, I think the factory Yamaha has taken a step backwards this season, and that has put more spotlight on Ben’s performance. Add to that Renaux exceeding expectations and looking like moving up as champion for ‘22, it’s just an unfortunate set of circumstances for Ben. But he’s a very good rider, a good kid, and he’s easy to work with. Someone will give him a decent ride for next year I’m sure, he deserves it

I think he’s actually pretty well rounded as a rider, remember he won the last MX2 GP of the season last season at Trentino. His first MX2 podium came in Russia. He certainly generally doesn’t have a problem riding the hard pack. I think the factory Yamaha is more difficult to ride in harder conditions, and as a result his qualifying has been worse and so his starts have been worse. He’s definitely better than a 20th place guy on hard pack
