I can only assume that was a mistake by Prado! There was no reason to do it at that time and I can't believe he would think it was the right move at anytime..

The only rider that could avoid that crash was herlings... he knows that he isnt going to win and prado was in the front.
Herlings brake a litle and nobody crashed
Thumbs down for me, i know but to much hate in this forum to prado only for defend his position.
These days people think that the riders need to race easy and open the door to a rider behind you...

Herlings could have pulled a bomb out and thrown it at Prado in the air and you people would still blame Prado. This is on Jeff imo Prado had it won Herlings should have laid up took a solid 2nd and moved on to moto 2 with a bigger points lead. But no that’s not good enough for “the fastest rider in the da world”(with one major championship)

Cross jumping is not defending your postion, those are life-threatening moves that don't belong on a motocross track.
And if you don't understand that, you have nothing to look for on a mx track.

Of course it was a mistake. A lot of the moves he pulls are jot intentional (some are).
But that doesn't make it any less stupid and dangerous. Dude is racing the top of the world championship

I`m not on twitter. Maybe some updates, or are we have to wait for moto2 to see if Herlings injured?
And I`ll repeat myself - fuck that dumbass Prado and a horse he rode in on.

Is hard to know whole facts without seeing jump face. But this more like other more stupid Prado shit. Needs to be sorted back of pits cause MXGP will do nothing again. My money on JH there. Knock the ciunt out!

WHAT?! There is not any racer that will backs down before a ''straight'' jump, while still going for the win. Because that's what he did. He might aswell have given the position to Febvre before because getting points on gajser, or the dangers involved. This is not the first time that Prado cross jumps.

You’re an idiot. If Prado not went from left to right on the jump nothing would have happened.

He does nothing else, last straight before the finish line he went from left to right and again to left. Nobody in the whole field does this kind of things. Its not defending his line anymore...

Yes, i watch all the races every year since freecaster.tv(2008 or so) and sx and ama too... im speaking on this thing...
Its a fault of the two riders.
They entry to the jump in diferent angles and collide.

I dont reponse more to this move because a read and write in this forum for fun and i dont want to start a fight... im respecful with all the coments and i dont agree. Every person has his opinion and nothing wrong with that

Clearly we can see what moves made Prado before jump. Just cant wait news, really hope JH84 is okey!!!..also Prado...

Jeffery's flight plan was straight, Jorge's crossed completely over... Thus it's clearly Jorge's fault. Not 80% or 90% etc but 100%.

Pinning this on Jeffrey by basically saying, 'yeah but he shouldn't have been trying to win the race at that point' - is ridiculous. In other words he shouldn't have tried all the way to the finish line etc. That's the diehard Prado fan defence so far then? Please. Not hating on the guy, he's still young and a future star etc. And yes riders can/do misjudge things and come together. But when it's that severe of a crossover one can only assume a total lack of judgement and care on Jorge's part.

LOL no problem, I just wrote something based on the first vid' we had here (I am not watching the race live because I am in the holiday house and don't know my password from the home tv package...). Then I just watched the other vids, edited my post 5 minutes later, then half an hour later I saw that i had created a shit storm in the few minutes the first post was on. Anyway, with the view from the race live with Malin as commentator, it was indeed looking pretty ugly.

You can clearly see the trajectories in the mxgp video on the face of the jump

Crap. 9 points out of the lead.

Well, without a doubt, Prado and his bike went into Herlings.

It certainly ended in tears as Malin predicted.

I really want to see full vision of the back face of the jump - I really hope they have that, and, will show it.

The reason I want to see it is I had that split second 'Oh F**k' moment when I saw Prado go up the slick/ hard pack face, tracking through that small rut on the face. His body went way to the right, and his bike looked like it was getting directed by the very slight curve of the right of the rut.

As Utterly pinned as he ( and Herlings) were, to get to the line, for the win, I dearly would like to see full coverage from the back, to see if Prados' bike did a 'spin up, going to the right on the face' in those last few feet we haven't seen.

Undoubtedly many here will go into paroxysms of hysteria, thinking I'm defending Prado.

No, I Certainly am Not.

I just want to see the video of the rest of that jump face, that they surely will have. I recently had a prang (at a much, much, much, much less fearful / full on scale) through a tiny rut on a jump face, where my rear tyre lit up, my body went to the right, and I found myself flying through the air, 'stage right', as they say, as nothing but a passenger. It happened in an instant, on a jump face I've gone over literally, for decades. I ate s**t in a Big way, and it was completely unexpected. Dizzy

I really hope both are OK - but with Prado carried off on a stretcher, I don't thing he is. Jeffery, looked OK - and, looked justifiably unhappy, if not ropeable - and I hope he really is OK.
