No one is talking about Bar X Suzuki

If I putting in the hard work and spending money to run a mx team I sure as hell wouldn’t run Suzuki’s…Why start so far in the hole? Much more time and money being spent to make the bikes competitive that could be better spent elsewhere.

Just think if that was the case 7-8 years ago with KTM as they did not have a great bike.
Or the Yamaha 450 - it was not a good bike just a couple years ago.
Look what they are doing today.

If the OEM or a Privateer team wants to have a team and is putting riders on the track - what is the downside. If it works out - great. If it does not work out- it gave some riders the opportunity to showcase their skills.

As MX fans - we all should be happy there is another team at the track!

For those dissing the RM-Z, keep in mind that no bike - NO BIKE - is prepared to race a national at the pro level in stock trim. Even those which are closer than the Suzuki need a lot of work anyway. Maybe yellow goes well with their branding plan.
I found out the hard way that stock 250f’s are not even close to being ready for racing at the AMA pro level.

KTM says “ Ready to Race”? Ha!

We spent more on performance parts, consumables, and mods than the original cost of the bike, and we were still lacking severely in horsepower.

If you want to burn all of your money, then start a 250f teamTongue

Exactly. Kenny can have his moments, but he brought a ton of exposure for that team (and others) that was constantly shit on by FELD's (insert other promoters here) endemic sponsors. FELD has no financial interest in helping out teams that have conflicting sponsors.

RCH couldn't even park a RAM truck in the pits so they had to leave it on the tailgate to skirt the rules.

It's always entertaining to see who teams pick as their representatives. Corporate America really jives with KW haha.

Nothin to be impressed for,the guy is legit, half the field was injured, even Hartranft, and Anstie, were five and sixth overall
on those öutdated Suzukis¨.
People seem to think that dirt bikes are like compueters or cell phones, with every new model is updated

Kenny has been more successful than anyone at team Honda the last 19 years at bringing a 450 title

I’m actually stunned they don’t drop some weight and then add electric start. It isn’t illegal and clearly the bikes are strong enough. If they really wanted they could buy the JGR motors and dissect them. The JGR was a strong bike

Also all 450s make lots of power, stock or modified. But the factory 250s are absolute monsters.

CM needs to be on a Yami or its career suicide. A champion gets the best equipment possible its a vital part of the equation.

Mad respect for Larry Brooks and his turd polishing abilities - but that bike is a pile of shit - it can only be polished so much.

It was a pile of shit 5 years ago, it aint changed a stitch - everyone else has kept developing - is Mumfords dazzy retarded?

The 2019 RMZ250 was a completely new bike. How can people look at a 2018 vs 2019 and say they haven’t changed.

New frame
Swingarm
Forks
Shock
Cylinder Head
2nd Injector
Plastic

How can KTM change the fuckin plastic on their bikes and everyone’s acting like it’s some modern engineering marvel.

What’s so different from a 2017 vs 2021 KTM.

Not fuckin much.

So the Lawrence bro’s are committing career suicide by not being on Yamaha?

Only one person sounding ‘retarded’ here, and his name’s not Mumford.

There's still a large percentage of people on vital that think the Yamaha has 50hp and all the other 250f bikes have 20hp.

And there are also people on here that think the laws of physics don't apply in MX. Are there any other motorsports where it's acceptable to have a bike or car 10 % heavier than the competition?

Fair play to you for owning a suzuki Seth, most people get all angry saying Suzuki aren't at a disadvantage, yet they never go out and buy them and that is very telling.

Exactly how is it a turd?? I’d say the star bike was a bit better than the factory Honda and somehow that still won the title. A champion wins on any bike. It’s ironic the guy talking a whole bunch of shit on a Suzuki team has a picture of a guy on a Suzuki team in his avatar 😭

For sure, I don’t think they are all equal off the showroom floor. That said, look at Yamaha 450. That bike sucked at the pro level and now it’s great due to star not going with the norm over there. BarX is proving the Suzuki isn’t decades obsolete, even if it isn’t the #1 platform.

Lawrence brothers have the full power of HRC behind them. And they knew the new bike was coming.

Mumford needs every advantage he can get.

Why do people freak out that the bike isn't cutting edge? The Bar-X team isn't set up to be a championship team right now. Top 5's would thrill them and there is need for "midfield" teams just like in F1 racing. Maybe in a few years if the team gets some successes they will switch brands and switch goals, just be happy we have another team out there competing.
